Initially the goat provides added nutrition through its milk, then as she has babies, she's like a bank account that keeps growing. Families are able to sell goats to pay school fees, medical expenses, build brick homes and start businesses. Give Goat! $160 It all begins with your love and a goat! Fund a 'pass on' goat Every family that receives a dairy goat from Food for His Children commits to passing the first born goat kid on to another family who has had training. While a Food for His Children family is providing the goat in this case, your gift funds training, vet care and start up grasses for goat food. Pass it On! $50 Just like Giving Goat, your gift will help a family lift themselves out of poverty blessing their children with the opportunity to go to secondary school and maybe even college. Partner with a family Food for His Children provides many services beyond a dairy goat and initial training. Giving $360 or $30 per month gives a family one to one support from a Field Officer who encourages and empowers them; pastoral care; veterinary care; participation in savings groups, and ongoing training in agriculture, animal husbandry, entrepreneurship, health and environment. Give a Well $30,000 Build a well in Gongali. Food for His Children's Farm and Innovation Center needs a well. The well will be shared with the primary school next door and with the community. Food for His Children works to restore relationships between God, self, others and the rest of creation. When these are in alignment, the Kingdom is restored and life is made new. Transport to Rural Villages $100 Goal Planning $50 Savings Training $50 Food for His Children serves 10 different rural communities. Careful planning puts you ahead in the long run. Proverbs 21:5 Provide funds for a 30 week savings curriculum and training. Help us get to the most remote areas to offer support, encouragement and follow up to help these families lift themselves out of poverty. To reach your goals, you need a plan. Field Officers work with families to break their goals into attainable pieces and then provide accountability and support as they slowly come to fruition. When you don't earn enough to have a bank account, you join a group of trusted individuals to form a savings co-op. Each week members put a designated amount into the group fund. Families are able to save the money for their future needs and can borrow from the fund for things like tuition or business start up funds. This gift provides one to one goal planning to assure success.

Veterinary Care $100 In addition to teaching families about raising dairy goats, Food for His Children cares for over 700 goats. Our veterinary team holds deworming and vaccination clinics regularly as well as treating sick goats. Your gift provides pastoral visits, Bible Study, baptism classes, building relationships with neighboring churches and showing the Jesus Film. Food for His Children mamas work hard! Food for His Children is creating a youth program! Food for His Children families are eager to learn more. We teach agriculture, animal husbandry, savings, entrepreneurship, health and environment. Some of our mothers crush rock for $15 a month. Some pick coffee beans for about $1 per day. Our youth program will teach children all the things we teach their parents along with building leadership skills and developing their character. We are looking to expand our staff to provide more services like business planning and youth programming as well as more Field Officers for one on one case management. Buy a refrigerator for the Food for His Children office to keep vaccinations and medications cold and to offer our staff a place to keep their lunches to reduce their daily food expenses.
