STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE: MFLC PROVIDER TRAININGS You should have received a User Name and Password for MFLC@magellanhealth.com. Go to www.magellanmflc.org and enter your User Name and Password where you Sign In (located within the red box below). Click on Sign In. We suggest using Google Chrome when logging into the training courses. If your trainings do not load properly, we suggest you update your Adobe Flash Player and Java to the latest versions on your computer. You also may want to allow pop-ups so the course can play properly. If you elect to download the PDFs of the courses instead of watching the trainings, realize you need Adobe Reader in order to access a PDF on your computer or Smartphone. There will be a Training menu item at the top of the page (within the green circle below). Move your mouse over that menu item and you will see a drop-down labeled Training (within the red circle below). Click on Training to be taken to the training courses. A list of Available courses should appear. Left-click on the blue typing on the left in order to access the content. In this example left-click on Annual Refresher Module 5.5 Continuing Education Credits in order to take the MFLC 201 Annual Refresher (red arrow) course for the MFLC Program. If you were taking MFLC 101 through MFLC 106, you would select Military & Family Life Counseling Program Initial Counselor Training (green arrow) in order to access the six modules you will need to access. If you don t see all the courses, find the gray Enrol Me button at the bottom of the page and left-click on it in order for all the courses to appear on the screen as seen below. The MFLC Annual Refresher Training will appear. At the top of the page you will see a red box with MFLC Refresher Training Handout written next to it. That is the PDF of the course in the event you would rather read the training instead of viewing the interactive training. The MFLC Annual Refresher Training is divided into five sections. The sections are Military Cultural Awareness, Orientation and Overview, Commitment to Ethical and Professional Standards, Military Life Stressors, and Role of the Counselor. In order to activate the interactive portion of the course, left-click on the blue titles of the sections with the small brown box to the left of the title. After completing all the sections or reading the PDF, go to the bottom of the screen and find the appropriate post-test. You must complete the post-test with the appropriate score, complete an evaluation, and then you get access to the certificate you should print for your records. As you can see the post-test is blue which means you can left-click on it to advance to the post-test. Step-by-Step Guide: MFLC Provider Trainings 6
After successfully completing the post-test with the appropriate score, the Questionnaire Evaluation will turn blue and you may left-click on it to take it. After successfully completing the Questionnaire Evaluation, the Refresher Certificate will turn blue and you will be able to left-click on it in order access and print off the certificate. When the certificate is on your screen you can print it, download it, or both. Left-clicking the printer (red circle) allows you to print the certificate. You can also utilize the Navigation bar to navigate courses. Just realize the arrows pointing to the right can be left-clicked in order to open up navigation under the title. In other words, the arrow pointing to the right when left-clicked rotates 90 degrees and opens up additional options to be selected.
