TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. Application Process: Application shall be submitted online at http://www.aiimsjodhpur.edu.in. The link for submission of online applications in respect of above said faculty posts along-with other relevant information will be activated at 2.00PM of 09.12.2013. The last date of online submission of applications is 10.01.2014 by 5.00 PM. 2. Annexure: Printed copy of the on-line application form and the attested photocopies of the following along-with the originals must be brought at the time of interview. i). No Objection Certificate NOC for those who are working in Central/ State Government/ Semi Government/ Autonomous Institutions from their respective organization ii). Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates and Experience certificates etc. 3. Applicants from other Institutes: NOC is desired from those candidates who are working in Central/State Government/Semi Government, Autonomous body etc. from their respective organization along with their application. 4. Upper Age Limit: 50 (Fifty years) for Direct Recruitment. However, relaxable for Government Servants, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or otherwise exceptionally qualified applicants up-to 5 years and 3 years for Other Backward Class candidates. Upper age limit will be taken as on 1 st January 2014. 60 Years for Deputation. 5. Period of deputation: Not exceeding 3 years. 6. Application Fees: Application fee for General/OBC candidate is Rs.1000/-, fees for SC/ST candidates is Rs.500/-, fee for physically handicapped candidates is NIL. 7. Last date for online submission of application: 10.01.2014 by 5.00 P.M. 8. The effective date up-to which the requisite experience must be completed as on last date of submission of application. 9. Clearances: Appointments are subject to clearances as for equivalent posts in Government of India. 10. Qualifications and Experience: Qualifications may be relaxed for highly experienced, trained or reputed candidates at the discretion of the Selection Committee. The experience will be counted as on last date of submission of application. 11. Short Listing: The prescribed qualification is minimum and mere possessing the same does not entitle any candidate for selection. Based on bio-data, the Selection Committee may short-list candidates for interview. Candidates called for interview will have to produce all relevant original documents in proof of details furnished in their application at the time of interview. 12. Site of Interview: Interviews will be held at AIIMS Jodhpur. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

OTHER INFORMATION FOR THE CANDIDATES (i) (ii) (iii) (iv) (v) (vi) The All India Institute of Medical Science is an autonomous body established under Act of parliament. Service under the Institute is governed by that Act and the Rules & Regulations framed there under. All the posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of similar status at Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Probation period: The period of probation is two years. Promotions: A Teacher gaining requisite experience for the higher post can be granted promotion subject to the Rules and Regulations applicable from time to time in the Central Government Institutions/AIIMS. The applicants, who do not have requisite qualifications up to the last date for submission of applications, will not be considered. (vii) The discipline/subject for which the application is being submitted needs to be indicated clearly. (viii) Separate application should be submitted for separate post along-with the prescribed fee for each post. A consolidated application for more than one post will not be considered. (ix) (x) (xi) Incomplete application(s) will not be considered. The applicants already in Government service shall have to produce Relieving Certificate from their present employer before joining the Institute. The employees of the Institute will be governed by the New Pension Scheme as per the provision contained in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs (ECB & PR Division). Notification No. 5/7/2003-ECB&PR dated 22.12.2003. (xii) The post(s) is/are whole time and private practice of any kind is prohibited.

(xiii) The persons belonging to SC/ST/OBC community must submit the certificate in the requisite pro-forma duly issued by the authority concerned. (xiv) While every effort will be made to provide residential accommodation to the faculty staff appointed at the Institute subject to availability but in view of the paucity of the residential accommodation in the campus it may not be possible to provide accommodation in every case. In the event that no accommodation is provided, necessary H.R.A. as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at Jodhpur, Rajasthan will be provided. (xv) AIIMS reserves the rights to increase or decrease the number of vacancies. (xvi) Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification. (xvii) The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law. (xviii) In case any information given or declaration by the candidate is found to be false or if the candidate has willfully suppressed any material information relevant to this appointment, he/she will be liable to be removed from the service and any action taken as deemed fit by the appointing authority.
