Articulation of Transfer Credit From Rappahannock Community College To Troy University This Articulation of Transfer Credit from Rappahannock Community College to Troy University (TROY) identifies the terms and conditions required for the transfer of specific courses from Rappahannock Community College to Troy University. Prospective TROY students from Rappahannock Community College can be assured in advance of enrollment with TROY the specific courses from Rappahannock Community College that will be accepted as fulfilling the requirements for the baccalaureate degree from TROY. Prospective TROY students must meet all TROY degree requirements, including TROY's General Studies requirements in order to be eligible to graduate from TROY. The attached transfer matrix is effective for a period of two years from the date it is signed by both parties subject to the terms and conditions detailed below. 1. Decisions made by regulatory agencies such as the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), the Alabama Department of Education, the Alabama Commission on Higher Education (ACHE), or special accrediting agencies may require changes be made to this agreement. 2. Rappahannock Community College must retain its regional accreditation. 3. The attached transfer matrix identifies Rappahannock Community College courses acceptable to TROY. 4. Courses from Rappahannock Community College must have a grade of "C" or higher to be considered for transfer to TROY according to the attached transfer matrix. 5. Transferability of CLEP, DANTES, advanced placement credit and/or other nontraditional credit is subject to approval by TROY. 6. Students from Rappahannock Community College who wish to transfer to TROY must be in good standing at Rappahannock Community College. 7. TROY defines a transfer student as one who has a minimum GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) on at least 24 semester hours of college credit attempted excluding developmental courses. Those meeting this requirement may be admitted to TROY unconditionally. 8. Prospective TROY students must be admitted to TROY before transfer credit will be awarded. Transfer credit will not be awarded until prospective TROY students a. Meet eligibility requirements for admission to TROY, b. Complete and submit an Application for Admission, c. Pay the admission fee, and d. Submit official transcripts and other required documents. 9. All students must earn a minimum of 50% of all degree program hours on a senior college level in order to graduate from TROY with a bachelor's degree.
10. Students who graduate from Troy University must complete all of Troy University's general studies requirements as well as all requirements for the specific academic major. The attached transfer matrix involving TROY and Rappahannock Community College courses will enable transfer students to have advanced information regarding guaranteed transferability.
