Your attendance is the part of the final grade. The default is 80 points. It will be reduced by points for each absence and 10 points for being late or leaving early. Do not ruin your 80-points. Again, late assignments/labs will not be accepted. Assignments and due dates will be provided as a separate document ahead of time. Take-home quizzes will be based on the class lecture, and the purpose of the quizzes is to prepare you for the tests. If for any reason you cannot submit your assignment on time, or you cannot take the exam on a predetermined date, please let me know earlier via email. There will be a Final Project to demonstrate database knowledge. More information about these projects will be provided in class. Excessive use of the Internet for other than classroom activities Chronic tardiness Disruptive behavior Any students that persist in behavior deemed inappropriate by the instructor after being warned will be reported to the Office of Student Services.
