CUNY Intra-Conference Transfer Policy Transfer Rule: A student-athlete in a specific sport, who transfers from one CUNY Conference institution to another CUNY institution must fulfill a residency requirement of one academic year at the second CUNY institution, but will not lose one year of eligibility during the fulfillment of the residency requirement in that sport. This rule may be waived per the provisions of: A waiver would require a two-thirds affirmative vote of the (Eligibility Committee). The member institution requesting the waiver must clearly and convincingly demonstrate by objective testimony and/or evidence that the reason for a waiver is not related to the actual playing of the sport by the student-athlete, but rather based upon a non-athletically-related reason. A non-athletically-related reason may include, but is not limited to the following: 1. The sport was discontinued at the previous CUNY institution; 2. The student-athlete s major course of study was discontinued by the previous CUNY institution; 3. The student-athlete s previous CUNY institution was placed on either NCAA or CUNY probation and deemed ineligible to compete for the CUNY championship; 4. Because of a medical emergency situation involving his/her immediate family, the student-athlete desires to attend another CUNY institution that is geographically closer to his/her home. 5. Signature of the departing Athletic Director on this form waives the year of residency for the student-athlete. Note: If the departing Athletic Director does not sign this form, the student-athlete must fulfill the year of residency requirement unless the student-athlete appeals to the Eligibility Committee whose decision is final. 2012-2013 CUNYAC Operating Manual Community College Division 59

CUNY Intra-Conference Transfer Policy CUNYAC Transfer Rule: A student-athlete who transfers from one CUNY Conference institution to another CUNY institution must fulfill a residency requirement of one academic year at the second CUNY institution, but will not lose one year of eligibility during the fulfillment of the residency requirement. ATTENTION: As required by Conference policy, this form must be completed prior to any student-athlete s transfer from the institution. NJCAA / CUNYAC GAME EJECTION FORM PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED: 1. The region director shall supply an end of the year report to their region, the NJCAA Sport Committee and the NJCAA Standards and Ethics Committee on all ejections occurring within their region during the year.
