Practice for the Future 8 Finding a Voice: I want to be able to rediscover the voice of NRHH in GLACURH and revive chapters, like mine, that are struggling. Rediscovering why NRHH is important. Engaging Members: Maintaining Connection: I want to be able to maintain a fast response time (<24 hrs) in order to answer impertinent questions. One of my goals is always to engage students in order to be as effective as possible. Getting Chapters to participate in Regional things to create a stronger network of support. Involvement: I will try to get chapters to participate in things that will help get recognition going in the region. Facilitate the Conversation: I will be facilitating conversations to help guide what I should be doing to help aid chapters across our region.
Practice for the Future 9 As AD-NRHH, I hope to be able to engage chapters through Diamond Chats and utilizing Polar Points to give recognition to chapters. I hope to engage our Canadian friends as well. These amazing people deserve equally amazing support, and I want to be able to do that for them. In this position, I want to engage NRHH Presidents that don t have too much voice at conferences. I want to be able to create a specific network for chapter presidents to be able to support each other like the NRHH-CCs do. As AD-NRHH, I want to be able to create the network in which chapters are able to communicate with. I want to do this so all the NRHH-CCs would be able to ask each other questions about specifics on about each others chapters. I want to increase the OTM Committee and use this group as a force to really gauge what we may need for OTM s in terms of resources and recognition. In this position, I really want to work closely with the Coordinating Officer for Recognition and Service, to really develop a good regional recognition newsletter that recognizes the service in our Region.
