Dear Colleague Thank you for your interest in the position of Head of School (Designate) at John Taylor Free School. John Taylor Free School is a proposition that I have been personally passionate about for several years. Through the initial sponsorship proposal, through crafting the bid and securing stakeholder support, to seeing it literally rise from the ground I have been there. It is therefore of pivotal importance to me that we find an individual with the right credentials and experience to take up the challenge of seeing the vision, and now the building, become a living, thriving, exceptional, school. This may appear daunting but as an opportunity it is, in my opinion, a once in a career chance to shape and develop a school for its community by leading its people children and adults towards a shared future of achievement and enjoyment. Of course, I and my colleagues across the Trust will be there to support and encourage you. As a MAT, we take the development of our leaders at all levels incredibly seriously. The successful applicant will be an individual who is receptive to their own personal development: a lifelong learner. I hope that you find the information enclosed useful in your considerations. Should you choose to apply, and I very much hope that you do, I look forward to meeting you at interview. With best regards. Mike Donoghue CO, John Taylor Multi Academy Trust 7
