All objects have a story to tell, but puppets are objects with rare power, writes puppet expert Steve Abrams. This program has tried to provide an essential link between real expectation of the employers and the current skill level of youngsters and also to give them the hope how Redington Foundation can help them to attain the level of employers expectation. The preparation for the show itself gained a lot of attention of all age group people of that place and gathered all of them before the puppets with enthusiasm and eagerness. The show started with welcoming the crowd, then the puppeteer asked several questions to the children over there for which they were answering at once with full joy. The objective of the show is to spread messages among economically and educationally backward community about our Employability Training program so as to develop the skills of the unemployed youth to get them employed in the right job. We have planted a seed and we wish to see it growing strong. 1
Step Up In The Career Ladder The dream of every aspiring college fresher is to get placed in a good corporate company before finishing the final examination. The preparation would have been started in the beginning of the final year and as an add-on Redington Foundation has also contributed to shape and polish the rough diamond to dazzle in the corporate market. It is apparently known that there is a huge difference between the employers expectation and the youth skill level. We, Redington Foundation bridges this gap not only by providing the necessary skill training to the students but also by bringing down the corporates to the campus for recruiting the young talents. The Interviews were held at the Elite Centres of Thiruvalluvar College - Papanasam, Sri Sarada College for women -- Thirunelveli, VHNSN College - Virudhunagar, TKS College Of Arts & Science -Theni, Syed Hameedha Arts & Science college - Kilakarai, DKM College for women, Vellore in a tremendous way. Kudos to the CSR Team This January month and February first week had been a golden period for our students of Elite Centres (Centres in rural colleges) who attended first level of interview with various employers and have been short listed by the employers. 2
Series1, Total Participated Students, 1432 Series1, Total Selected Students, 596 Nearly half of the total participated students have got shortlisted in various corporate companies like HDFC, Future Genarali, IVTL Info View, Apollo Pharmacy, Cholo MS, Hinduja Global Solutions, Equitas, THEME English Academy, Skyrams India Ltd and Yogam BPO. The employers found the students very confident and fearless while attending the interview. They observed that the students were very focused about their career and there was a clarity in their answers. The students are little lacking with regard to the English communication but it was understood that it is a matter of practice which can be improved. We have contributed to improve the students personality and we have also seen the result of that out of these placement drives, so we and our students are confident that they can also excel in English Language with practice. 3

Besides that Redington Foundation imparts soft skill training to rural college students through READ programme, thus equipped them with skills needed for their employment. RAMP centre enables graduate students to acquire practical knowledge and application of their subject as well as Soft Skill for communication development and practical/technical for Typesetting, e- Publishing & Big Data Analytics. With the support of technology and expert trainers we conduct this training and enable them to emerge as young enterprising entrepreneurs: under 30 and on fire. 7
