Pupil has to give his/her answer in that unit. Structured / Long-answer Question For each question, pupil has to show his/her method of solution clearly and write his/her answer(s) in the space(s) provided.

Science Purpose of the PSLE Science Paper The PSLE Science Paper assesses pupils attainment in Science with respect to the aims of Primary Science Education as stated in the 2014 Science (Primary) syllabus. The assessment includes recall of scientific facts, concepts and principles, and the application of process skills in various contexts.

Assessment Objectives (Science) The objectives describe the skills and abilities which pupils are expected to demonstrate. 1. Knowledge with Understanding - scientific facts, concepts and principles. 2. Application of Knowledge and Process Skills apply scientific facts, concepts and principles to new situations. Science Programmes for P5 (Selected pupils) Scientific Thinking Workshop Begins in February. Trains pupils on how to carry out scientific experimentations with the proper report writing procedure. Seashore Ecology Research Study with Field Trip Post-exam activity (After SA2). Let pupils experience carrying out scientific research using scientific methods at the beach intertidal zone.
