St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy The St John Fisher Academy Uniform Code September 2015

Our Academy Uniform: Allows every student to develop an understanding of the word smart. Allows every student to recognise that they are part of St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy. Allows every student to develop a sense of pride in themselves, their school and their community. Provides a value for money uniform. At St John Fisher Catholic Voluntary Academy we believe that our school uniform: instils pride; supports positive behaviour and discipline; encourages support for our school ethos; ensures that all students feel welcome; nurtures cohesion; and promotes good relations between different groups of students. Dress for Success Our uniform is our way of signalling to our students that the way they dress is important and will help determine their success in every interview that they have in the future. It is our intention that our simple, smart, affordable uniform will be worn correctly by every student in the school. A final thought when we walk into a room, we each have seven seconds to make an impression!
