We look forward to seeing your progress as the next data drop is being done this week. We will be starting our fund-raising again next week and our next year group trip is being planned for March. Happy New Year to you all. 7 CHARITY UPDATE Macy Filer in tutor group (7-09) has recently passed her Level 1 LAMDA Drama exam with Distinction Well done to the following for their excellent performances in the celebration assembly. If you have made a resolution try to stick to it!! Girls HPV Vaccinations will be taking place in January. Careers advice will be given to all year 8 students by Mrs Jeffery in Skills lessons. Meeting for charity reps this week. Need to get our act together and start raising some funds!

HEAD OF MESSAGE 9 Congratulations to Jac Sexton who has been invited by Saracens RFC to join their Elite Player Development Group. The Saracens EPDG selects the best players in the Home Counties. Well done Jac! Congratulations to 10.06 who were crowned Y10 Quiz Champions for the second half of the Autumn Term. Well done 10.06!.. 10 Thanks to the Year 10 Charity Reps who attended yesterday s meeting. HEAD OF MESSAGE Building blocks begin again!! Let s aim to make sure attendance, punctuality, uniform, equipment, behaviour, attitude and respect are quality; so that progress can be made and success is achieved in 2015 and beyond. Thank you to Jack Braun and David Batchelor for the fantastic end of term entertainment. The Y10 Student Leaders are now completing their duties. It s great to see them as I walk around at lunch time. Make sure you let Miss Copeland or Mr Spencer know of any issues.

Many Year 13s have also received offers from universities this week and last. 13 HEAD OF MESSAGE Most Year 13s have sent off their UCAS applications. A big well done for completing. The UCAS deadline is the 15th January 2015.

The LRC Reading Club is doing a ½ term book review starting this term, any body is welcome. Each ½ term we will choose a book for reading and reviewing with a reward for the best review, this will be an Amazon Gift voucher for 20.00 and a runner up voucher of 10.00. For more information speak to Mrs Murray in the English Department or Mrs Cole in the LRC.
