A Little Bit About My Experience as a Foreign Student in Canada and France Reality vs. dream Cultural differences and language difficulties Determination and keep your objective (don t let the financial opportunities change your goals) Be determined because Canadians appreciate your effort. Learning English can help you improve your chance of a better job according to your skills. Take the advantage maximum you can of this opportunity. To be strong do not become home sick (com muita saudades que prejudique a sua interação cultural e aprendizado). Enjoy this opportunity of learning about different cultures and make friends because you will have the opportunity to meet people from around the world. New opportunities can appear for you (I received a scholarship to study in France). Do not be afraid of winter, it is very COLD!!!

A Little About Canada
Importance of Language Skills for Business Career English is the international language of business. There is NO other language that has as powerful a motive to learn as does English. That motive = money! More people speak Cantonese than English, but MUCH more $ trades hands in English than in all Chinese dialects. You realize that languages are important for the workplace. Many more people are invested in language training and translation services.
Importance of Language Skills for Business Career Millions of dollars of business is lost due to lack of language skills. Many organizations still haven't got a strategic or even coordinated view of using languages at work.

Conclusion Canada has been receiving a large number of foreign students from all over the world; since 2002 the number of international students has increased 60% according to Statistics Canada. Learning English has become a very important, special business area. Employees who provide language skills are very important to helping companies with the right information and quality services. Toronto and Vancouver are the cities that most attract foreign students in Canada. These cities provide a lot of options with different courses, schedules and specialties.
Conclusion You need to do research and find a school that supplies the program that you are looking for according to your financial possibilities. The cost of schools and home stay vary according to the program they provide and the location. Home stays are well prepared to receive students. Objects in the house are labelled with the names in English to help in the learning process. Most youth hostels are comfortable and clean and accommodate students easily. Besides the opportunity to learn English in Canada, you have an opportunity to work in different exchange programs with pay. It is a very interesting experience; you can combine learning with fun through the visits and activities that are included in school programs.
