Anatomic and Hematopathology Consultation Service Our distinguished faculty comprise one of the largest and strongest groups of diagnostic pathologists in the world. Receiving more than 14,000 referrals for expert opinion annually, they offer valuable consultative services to referring pathologists to facilitate patient care and education while supporting effective communication with clinicians and patients. Support includes a full range of anatomic pathology diagnostic services including cutting edge molecular diagnostics, a large menu of immunohistochemical stains, electron microscopy, digital imaging and image analysis. Consultations and second opinions are provided in all subspecialties with each interpretation communicated by fax and frequently a phone call to the referring pathologist at the time of report sign out. Most diagnosis are rendered within 24-48 hours of receipt. We will call you if additional studies are needed delaying the final diagnosis.
