REVIEW OF LEONARDO VISITS IN ITALY AND SLOVENIA STATEMENT THAT BELGIUM ISN T AN OFFICIAL PARTNER ANY MORE, BUT JUST SILENT PARTNER. 3. IF ALL THE REQUIREMENTS ARE NOT FILLED AT THE END OF LEONARNO PROJECT THE PARTNERS ARE NOT GOING TO GET THE FINANCING. 4. THERE WILL BE AN INSPECTION CONSIDERING ALL THE DOCUMENTS IN ITALY ON 17 TH OF DECEMBER. 5. FOR NOW THERE HAS BEEN 3 MEETINGS DURING THIS PROJECT. UNFORTUNATELY BOVALLIUS SERVICES LTD HASN T BEEN ABLE TO TAKE PART IN ANY OF THEM. BOVALLIUS HAS TO WRITE THE REPORT CONCERNING THE VISIT IN PIEKSÄMÄKI, FINLAND ON 3 RD TO 5 TH OF DECEMBER THERE SHOULD BE A CONNECTION TO A NATIONAL AGENCY BECAUSE THE FINANCIAL ISN T COMING FROM EU. 7. THE AIM OF SEGRE IS THAT: THERE WILL BE NATIONWIDE CO-OPERATION CONCERNING RECYCLING ETC. IT IS IMPORTANT TO COMPARE AND EXCHANGE DIFFERENT PRACTICES AND KNOWHOW. THERE WILL BE NEW AND BETTER WAYS TO EXCHANGE KNOWLEDGE AND KNOWHOW. AS AN END PRODUCT A CD/DVD IS MADE. ALL THE INFORMATION, GOOD PRACTICES AND FIGURES OF THE OPERATIONS DURING THE PROJECT WILL BE GATHERED INTO IT. THE PARTNERS COMBINE THEIR SKILLS IN ORDER TO CREATE NEW SKILLS. THERE SHOULD BE ALL THE BEST FEATURES WRITTEN IN EVERY REPORT. THE EARLIER REPORTS (2) ARE TOO SHORT AND INACCURATE. THEREFORE THE SLOVENIAN AND ITALIAN PARTNERS HAVE TO WRITE THEM 2

3 AGAIN. THERE MUST BE MORE ACCURATE AND DETAILED INFORMATION AND MORE OBSERVATION. THE REPORT SHOULD BE A PRODUCT THAT CAN BE UNDERSTOOD ALSO BY THE OUTSIDERS. THERE MUST BE 3-4 GOOD PRACTICES AND FUNCTIONS DESCRIBED IN IT. THEREFORE AT THE END OF THE LEONARDO PROJECT THERE WILL BE CIRCA 15 DIFFERENT MODELS. THEY WILL BE DISSEMINATED TO OTHER PEOPLE VIA RREUSE WEBPAGE AND OTHER WAYS. EVERY PARTNER HAS A TASK TO DO. THERE WILL BE A MEETING IN TURKU, FINLAND ON 4 TH TO 6 TH OF JUNE IN IT IS A SMALL SEMINAR IN WHICH THE FINAL REPORT AND THE RESULTS ARE PRESENTED. IT IS A PUBLIC EVENT. THERE SHOULD BE SOME EVIDENCE CONCERNING THE LOCAL PRACTICES AND GOOD FUNCTIONS. THERE SHOULD BE ONE WELL-KNOWN SPEAKER WHO HAS BEEN SOMEHOW IN CO-OPERATION WITH THE PROJECT. ALSO THE PRESS/MEDIA SHOULD BE INVOLVED. METHODOLOGICAL AND PRACTICAL GUIDELINES INCLUDING THE GOOD PRACTICES MUST BE CREATED AFTER THE SEMINAR. ALL PARTNERS PARTICIPATE IN PLANNING THE SEMINAR IN FINLAND. THERE WILL BE SMALL LOCAL WORKSHOPS IN ITALY AND IN SLOVENIA. THE PROJECT DOESN T HAVE A LEADER. EVERY PARTNER IS IN CHARGE AND RESPONSIBLE FOR EXAMPLE CONCERNING THE CONNECTION TO NATIONAL AGENCY. A PLAN OF ACTION WAS MADE IN THE BEGINNING. NOW A FINAL REPORT AND THE END PRODUCT CD/DVD MUST BE DONE. EVERY PARTNERS HELP IS NEEDED. PARTNERS MUST CONTACT EACH OTHER TO COMPLETE THE MISSION. 8. EU WANTS US TO DISSEMINATE AS WIDE AS POSSIBLE THE INFORMATION ETC. 9. THERE WILL BE A NEW PROJECT ERASMUS FOR ALL IN AND THERE ARE NEW GUIDELINES TO IT. USUALLY IT IS POSSIBLE TO START A NEW PRODUCT AFTER THE LEONARDO PROJECT. ITALY IS WILLING TO CONTINUE CO-OPERATION WITH ITS PARTNERS. IN MARCH/APRIL 2014 IT IS TIME TO PRESENT NEW PROJECTS TO THE COMMISSION. 10. IN NEXT FEW WEEKS GIACOMO SARTI WILL SEND THE LATEST MATERIAL FOR ALL. 11. FOR A LITTLE WHILE AGO THERE HAS BEEN A REQUEST FROM APULIAN TO GET A PARTNER INTO A PROGRAM THAT CONCERNS THE EDUCATION IN PRISONS ON GREEN ECONOMY. IT IS A PEER REVIEW WITH A PARTNER WHO HAS EXPERIENCE IN EDUCATION IN PRISON. BOVALLIUS HAS THAT EXPERIENCE AND THEREFORE ORIUS HAS ASKED IT TO 3

4 JOIN AS A PARTNER. THE OTHER TRANSNATIONAL PARTNER IS GERMANY JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. THE AIM IS TO VERIFY AND REVIEW THE PROJECT IN APULIA IN THE BEGINNING, IN THE MIDDLE AND AT THE END. THE EXPERIENCE IN PRISON EDUCATION IS REQUIRED BY THE COMMISSION EUROS IS PAID FOR EVERY PARTNER FOR THE ACTIVITIES OF THE PEER REVIEW. THE TRAVEL EXPENSES ARE PAID BESIDES. 12. STAFF AND SKILLS: Professionals Minimum involved: educational level Activities / tasks 1) Prisoners/offenders: The lack of learning competence and skills. The difficulties to find a job after the sentence. The difficulties to adjust to society. 2) The society: The costs and other problems caused by the crimes. 1) The aim of this education is to help the prisoners/offenders to live their lives without crime. Therefore the aim is that this will be their last time in prison. 2) The aim is to help them study a profession and to get a job and housing. 3) The cost for one prisoner per day in open prison is 125 euros. In addition to that there are lots of other costs in society that are caused by the crimes. Therefore the social aim is to minimize those costs. STAFF AND SKILLS: Professionals Minimum involved: educational level Activities / tasks carry out Professional / technical skills and Linguistic skills and ICT skills and Organisational skills Social skills People with special needs. The lack of learning competence and skills. The difficulties to find a job after the education. The difficulties to adjust to society especially in case of the developmentally disabled people. The aim is to facilitate the employment of people with special needs or disabilities so that they would be part of the society, get regular wage, have their own housing etc. Vocational education Teaching different subjects. Depending on the subject, for example ICT, maths, English and so on. Practical and theoretical skills. The education is divided into two sections: Vocational education and Preparative education. Depending on the subject; Finnish, English and Sign language. Middle to high. High; to keep order in the classroom and to organize the lessons. Especially high; the climate in the classroom may be tensed and there may be multiple problems in 8

Customers such as various private companies, municipalities, the military, private households, Bovallius Foundation etc. There may be multiple problems that are solved by these services. The employees of Bovallius Services the final beneficiaries problems and to whom the ltd pick up the shopping lists from customer s homes, do the shopping and bring the service/project aims to give an answer items to customer s homes. No money is handled; the invoice is mailed afterwards. 8. ANSWERS TO BENEFICIAIRES NEEDS: To which final beneficiaries problems the service gives an answer Earlier home care units of the municipality took care of the shopping but it had to be terminated because there wasn t enough money to do it. Elderly people have difficulties to do the shopping by themself so this service solves their problems. 12
