The following list shows the PRIMARY days of play for each age group for the Spring 2017 season. Please note, coaches will be able to choose alternate days of the week to play games. PLEASE NOTE: A coach or knowledgeable team administrator MUST be in attendance at the designated date and time for each age group. That coach or team administrator must come to the meeting prepared to schedule all 8 of their games for the Spring 2017 season. They should know what tournament(s) their team will be attending during the Spring season and they should know what non-soccer commitments their players have during the season, (i.e. band concerts, fields trips, religious activities, spring break, etc.). With teams self-scheduling their games, there should be little, if any, reason to reschedule games once the Spring season starts. Teams will be provided the opportunity to work with their scheduled opponent to reschedule any games. Confirmation of the new game date must be received from both teams on or before 12:00 PM, on Wednesday, February 22, If confirmation is not received from both teams at that time, the game will be placed on the schedule as originally planned. 5 Thursday, June 1, 2017 through Friday, June 30, 2017 Open recruiting of players who will be U-15 or older during the next seasonal year. MOSSL bylaw 9.3 The administrative bylaws relating to recruiting applies to all players in M.O.S.S.L. except for players who will be participating on a U-15 or older team during the coming seasonal year and provided that the recruiting of a U-15 or older player only takes place during the month of June. The entire schedule will be ed to all teams sometime on or about 7/31/2017. Teams may make changes to their schedules with the consent of their opponent thru 8/7/2017, through the use of the online Tentative Game Change Form. If both teams submit the same information through the online form AND if there is a field available, the game will be changed in the league s master schedule. Friday, July 28, MOSSL Office will be closed. AUG IMPORTANT NOTE TO ALL TEAMS: Carding Appointments are required MOSSL Office phone number: Fall 2017 carding will begin on August 1, All teams are to have their carding in the MOSSL Office at least 7 business days, Monday thru Friday, before their first day of play. All teams that have not already done so must have all of their carding material in the MOSSL office no later than August 21, 2017, to allow the MOSSL office staff sufficient time to ensure that the team s cards and roster will be ready for their first league game.
