1 REPORT ON CMP CLUSTER LEVEL SPORT MEET HELD AT KV.ORDNANCE FACTORY DUMDUM (o ) On the 7th day of November 2015, K.V.OF DUMDUM hosted the CMP CLUSTER LEVEL SPORT MEET in accordance with the Calendar of Activities provided by KVS, Kolkata Region, under the able guidance of respected Principal and Venue Director, Mrs. Sujata Bhattacharya. Kolkata Cluster 2 included 8 schools, K.V.No.1-Salt Lake,K.V.No.2-Salt Lake,K.V.OF Dum Dum,K.V.Cossipore, K.V.Barrackpore(AFS),K.V. Barrackpore (Army), K.V.No.2-Ishapore and K.V.No.1-Ishapore, who participated in the CMP Cluster Level sports Meet, which were held at venue, K.V.OF DUMDUM. Registration of the participants from the various Vidyalayas began at 8:00 a.m. and after the breakfast, the Inaugural Function began AT 9-30 am with a grand Colour Party Reception of Nominee Chairman, VMC, Mr.S.K. Yadav (Additional General Manager, OF DC), gracing the occasion as Chief Guest. The sport meet with Flag hoisting by the Chief Guest, and other dignitaries followed by the Welcome Address by the Principal Madam Sujata Bhattacharya, welcome song and winded up with blessings by the Chief Guest ; the meet was declared open and oath was taken by all the participants of different schools. Inaugural Ceremony was short but appropriate. The sports meet was conducted by the members of the sports dept.of OF DUMDUM deputed by Nominee Chairman, VMC, Mr.S.K. Yadav (Additional General Manager,OF DC).Ten different events took place. 1. HARDLE RACE (BOYS) 2. ARITHMETIC RACE(GIRLS) 3. ARITHMETIC RACE(BOYS) METERS FLAT RACE(GIRL) METERS FLAT RACE(BOYS) 6. SKIPPING RACE(GIRLS) 7. SPOON MARBLE RACE (GIRLS) 8. LONG JUMP(BOYS) 9. CRICKET BALL THROW(BOYS) 10. COCK FIGHT WITH BALLOONS(GIRLS) At p.m. a sumptuous lunch was provided, delectable as well as nutritious for our children. Post lunch Valedictory function began at 01:45 p.m. sharp. The Prizes were given away by Honourable Nominee Chairman, VMC, Mr.S.K. Yadav (Additional General Manager, OF DC), amidst resounding applause. The gala CMP Cluster Level sport Meet of Session , with its Carnival like atmosphere, drew to a close with Vote of Thanks by Respected Headmaster Mr. J.K.Barik followed by our National Anthem. By 2:30P.M. all the Escort Teachers were ready to leave with their Participants, Relieving Orders and snacks with fruit juice. All the Staff of K.V.No.OF Dumdum spared no effort in their team work under the able guidance of Mrs. SujataBhattacherya,Principal, K.V.OFDumdum and the Headmaster of Primary Section Mr. J.K.Barik to make the event a grand success.
