1 A Message from your Head Teacher Ms Russell Friday 1 st December 2017 Goldilocks and the Three Bears - Pantomime EYFS and KS1 will be watching a Christmas Pantomime on Monday 4 th December. Please note that if your child is in Nursery am, they are welcome to join in the fun at 1.45pm. Christmas Fete Friday 8 th December Please do your best to attend our Christmas Fete from 3.30pm 6pm. Donations needed for our mbola, Raffle and Food stalls. Please see posters for further details. KS1 Christmas Nativity Wednesday 13 th December at 2pm The KS1 Christmas Production is on Wednesday 13 th December. Parents and Carers are welcome to join us at 2pm. Crisis At Christmas Thank you to all parents and carers who have helped towards supporting the Crisis Homeless Charity by allowing your children to attend the Movie Night. Further support can still be made by putting a donation in the box in the foyer. The total amount raised will be in next week s newsletter. Dr Chris Van Tulleken We are very pleased to announce that Dr Chris Van Tulleken attended our school today to record one of his programmes as part of the Operation Ouch series. Once we have further details we will let you know when the programme is due to be broadcasted. Online Learning Resources A reminder that the children have access to Bug Club Mathletics SPAG.com Grammar Heroes Please support your child s learning by allowing them to use these online resources. LOST PROPERTY All lost property will be placed on the pitch on Monday 4 th December at 9am for all to see. Please take any items that belong to you. Any items left over will be cleaned and sold at a discounted rate at the Christmas Fete. 3 Late Pick Ups Parents / Carers are collecting children late from EYFS. We have written to some parents regarding late pick ups. We open at 9:10 and finish at 3:20 Mon to Fri VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Reception - Christmas Visit Parents / Carers we will be visiting our local church on Thursday 7 th December. We would need your help. If you are available please speak to the school office. Parents and carers, December 15 th is Christmas Jumper Day. If your child would like to wear a Christmas Jumper to support the Save the Children charity who help protect children, give them a healthy start and the chance to learn.
