Questions 1 through 4 are asking about you except no. 5. Let s look at the questions to create our answers. Note that Questions 1 through 4 end in -aste. Therefore, the ending of those verbs in the answer must similar to each other. Please look in the lesson for who -aste is referring to and adjust your answers accordingly. The example below is provided in English but this work needs to be done in Spanish. Please answer the questions in complete answer, using the IMPERFECT TENSE and using the words in the question to formulate your answer. Using the vocabulary and grammar learned in this course, your sentences could be The ambulance arrived Juan went to the hospital The doctor examined Juan The doctor told him that his nose was broken The doctor prescribed him some pills for pain Juan went home Juan played in the following game I hope you will resubmit this for a higher grade PRUEBA

10 EXAMEN Module 7 Exam ASIGNACION ASIGNACION PRUEBA WRITTEN DISCUSSION You are writing a paper about your favorite artist from the great masters of Spanish art. Since this assignment carries 20 points, please include more details regarding your artist. For example: Please make sure to double space your work and submit it in a word document. First paragraph should include: name of the artist, where he is from, where and when was he born, was he married, did he have children, how and when did he die. Second paragraph should include: why is he famous, names of 2 or 3 of his art work how are the colors in the art (soft or vibrant)? Why do you like or don t like his work? Is there a museum with his art? Third paragraph- You will then need to choose one student's response. Read about his/her favorite artist and painting. Then respond with whether you like the painting he/she chose and why. Last part of this assignment In the Discussion Groups, you will then need to choose one student's response. Read about his/her favorite artist and painting. Do not read what has been written in this section of the course. Keep your sentences simple and be sure to use the vocabulary from this module. 12 HOW TO ANSWER QUESTIONS IN SPANISH In Spanish, the verb comes first in the questions followed by the subject. When answering you need to switch the two so that you have subject followed by the verb. Answering a Question without question word Estudia María español? Notice the word order. Verb first, subject second. Sí, María estudia español. Notice the word order. Subject first, verb second. Answering a Questions with regular question words Ex. Qué Qué hay en la maleta? 1 st step delete the question word qué 2 nd step find the verb hay Creating your answer 1 st step - start answer with everything that follows the verb En la maleta 2 nd step add the verb - hay 3 rd step answer the question word qué or what Question: Qué hay en la maleta Answer : En la maleta hay Answering a Question with the question words Quién or Cuál For quién and cuál questions, all you do is to substitute the word quién or cuál for a person or thing Notice how the words from the questions are repeated in the answer.
