The flip The flipped class -During the lesson the children work on assignments, projects and In the Flipped Class the instruction is exchanged with the individual homework. The instruction normally given in the classroom, can be followed online and the student does this at home. The homework is made together, in the classroom. Because of this, the time in class is used more efficient. Traditional class -The instruction that normally is given in the classroom, watch or follow the students at home. Role of the teacher Flipping the classroom is an example of the TPACK approach. You can use this as a starting point.

7 INTRODUCTION FLIPPING THE CLASSROOM The challenge of flipping isn t in the making of video s, that s a small part. It is to use the released time in the classroom for other causes. Result: more active students! Tests It is not necessary to make the tests in the classroom. It is possible to make them at home in the cloud. With Flipping the Classroom I have the possibility to offer more differentiated education and give instruction at different levels. There is also more interaction in the class. I can follow the instruction at my own pace and time, as much as I want. I have more opportunities to ask questions at home and in the classroom. Flipping the Classroom is no miracle, it s a start. Flipping the Classroom + pedagogical and didactic model = a succes. Pay attention: do all the students have the required resources at home? Use enough time to make qualitatively good material.
