Pearson Realize home page The person icon in the upper-right corner of the Pearson Realize home page will give you access to the following: Settings (personal info and available programs) Help (with the Pearson Realize platform, including directions on how to set up a class and add students) Announcements (including new features or updates to the program) Sign out of the program Explore Programs. On the home screen, you may click the circles or the top tabs to navigate to the following: Programs (to view all program resources) Classes (to add a class or students or see assignments) Data (to view online assessment results) To browse Programs, click a grade-level image cover. You will see the following: Top navigation bar Programs, Classes, Data Table of Contents Getting Started with myperspectives, Teacher s Edition, Student Edition, Unit Resources, Assessments, and links to ELD Companion Teacher Resources menu NOTE: You can choose to view this information in Thumbnail or List view. IMPORTANT: To view the entire grade-level Student Edition, click the Menu in the upper right corner to access the Table of Contents and navigate to the different units and selections. Explore New EssayScorer Writing Prompts Go to Pearson Realize, select Programs, and click myperspectives+. myperspectives+ includes hundreds of additional program-agnostic teacher resources to meet the needs of the diverse learners in your classroom. Interactive lessons, grammar tutorials, digital novels, and more are student-facing to allow students to work independently. Additional components are only available to teachers and can be assigned out to students as needed. 9 ADDITIONAL: How do you assign remedial activities for students after they have completed an assignment or test? ACTIVITY: Preview student results, and assign remedial coursework manually. Data > class mastery by standard > click student name > view resources > assign How do you customize specific assignments? myperspectives offers multiple levels of standards and skills support all available digitally for easy access, assignment, and tracking: Student Edition instruction (core) On-level worksheets (additional practice in context) Reteach & Practice worksheets (agnostic remediation) Available remediation with the Unit and Mid-Year tests Programs > unit resources > choose a resource with a customize option You do not have to assign all of the assignment resources for a specific section of the unit. You can click the resource and delete specific activities. You also have the option to add links, files, notes, and so on. If you see RP (Reteach/Practice) next to the name of an assignment, you can use it as agnostic remediation. ACTIVITY: 1. Can you customize all assignments? 2. Find two assignments that include RP. 3.
