Finance It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following finance action items A through H: A. Treasurer s and Claims Auditor Reports It is recommended that the Board of Education accept the Claims Auditor Report for the month of June 2015 and Treasurer s Report for the month of June C. BOCES Service Contracts - It is recommended that the preliminary AS-7 contracts for the services and the final AS-7 contracts for with BOCES be approved, as per attached. D Tax Rates and Warrants It is recommended that the school tax rates and public library rates be set in accordance with the attached tax rate resolution and that the tax warrants be issued to the Town of Bethlehem and Town of New Scotland Tax Collector to commence the collection of taxes for the school year. The Town of Bethlehem tax warrant will be for a total of $62,335,890 and the Town of New Scotland warrant will be for a total of $4,866,784, with both amounts including the Library levy and excluding the amount of STAR reimbursement. E. Mileage Reimbursement It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the reimbursement to employees who are required to use their personal automobile for school district purposes, at the maximum rate per mile allowable by the IRS. F. Accept Grant Funds and Approve Budget Amendment It is recommended that the Board of Education accept the grant funds received from the Bethlehem Opportunities Unlimited (BOU) and amend the budget as per attached. Funds will be used to purchase Legos for the Elementary Schools. G. Accept Donation and Approve Budget Amendment It is recommended that the Board of Education accept the donation made by Slingerlands PTO and amend the budget as per attached. Funds will be used to purchase supplies for Slingerlands Elementary. H. Approve Food Service Department Bids It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the bids for providing Coffee Products to Chris Coffee Service and Fresh Bakery Goods to Formisano Bakery for the school year, as per attached. I. Accept Stipends and Approve Budget Amendment It is recommended that the Board of Education accept the stipends received by the University of Albany for the University in the High School Program and amend the budget as per attached. Funds will be used to purchase supplies for Math and World Language Departments. J. Accept Green Team Revenues and Approve Budget Amendment It is recommended that the Board of Education accept the revenues received for recycling by the Green Team and amend the budget as per attached. Funds will be used to purchase recycling supplies. VIII.
