9 OUR PROJECT METHODOLOGY: E.A.S.Y. Methodology Implementations are not easy; however our methodology is based on a simple fact. No one implementation is the same. The E.A.S.Y. approach to implementations removes excessive, unnecessary and complex steps that many other companies add and sometimes charge for. Creating excessive cost, effort and adding unnecessary risks to projects. E.A.S.Y. (Effective, Adaptive, and Simple System) guides your project through all the main collaborative efforts necessary to assure success, while providing the flexibility for change that comes with every implementation. EASY first identifies project weakness and alters your project approach to compensate and resolve such risks. Before starting any project all implementations perform INITIATION in EASY. This first segment is critical and outlines the correct path or approach the project will need to use and build on. During every migration into a new project segment, EASY assessments are performed to determine project health and adopt further project changes as necessary. This method truly monitors and changes to your industry, skill sets, resources and needs. After Initiation, collaboration continues in 5 E.A.S.Y. segments; Planning, Analysis, Build, Simulation, and finally Cut Over. INITIATION 1. Planning 2. Analysis 5. Cut-Over E.A.S.Y 4. Simulate 3. The Cleveland State assignment required immediate results to ensure a successful Fall of 2000 registration and financial aid processing after previous failed implementation attempts, which was accomplished. Cleveland State relied on Steve to be the auditor of all student records data to ensure that all the business functions operated properly. 59

66 Summary of duties performed: Data conversion has taken a three-step approach for both PeopleSoft and legacy data: data auditing, data cleansing, and data conversion. Data conversion required detailed design, specifications, development and testing. Integrating converted data to already present PeopleSoft was performed. Management of conversion of quarters to semester terms was performed with great accuracy and processes put in place to manage this on a daily basis. All 150K students have been successfully converted and audited. Perform problem investigation and resolution for all areas of Student Records. Student Administration Experience University of Minnesota (April 1999 April 2000) Project Lead At the University of Minnesota, Steve participated in numerous activities on the PeopleSoft 7.0, 7.5 and 7.6 Student Administration module with a focus on Student Records. He played a role in the upgrades to the 7.5 and 7.6 environments dealing with the numerous customizations that had been performed at the client site. Although his primary role was managing and leading the Student Records team through implementation points and upgrades, Steve also played a key role designing and developing several aspects of their customizations. Steve s relationship with the client and the clients confidence in his abilities transformed over time from involvement in very detailed tasks to being the project lead of the Student Records team. The registrar depended on him to address day-to-day issues, solve design issues, and manage the team. Summary of duties performed: Manage Student Records consultant and client functional resources for all aspects of implementation points, day-to-day activities, and problem resolution. Responsible for designing key interfaces to support transfer credits into PeopleSoft and degree audit information into a legacy system (DARS). Addressed the design, issue resolution, testing, and post-production clean-up activities for the academic history conversion. 73 ATTACHMENT E: PARTNERSHIP DESCRIPTIONS TRANSAMERICA TRAINING MANAGEMENT TransAmerica Training Management (TAM Training) is the Oracle University 2008 Partner of the Year. TAM Training was also awarded the Sales Excellence for 2008 & 2009 Awards by Oracle University. These awards recognize TAM Training for their outstanding track record and their determination to do their absolute best, whether selling, supporting, or delivering Oracle training. TAM Training has the distinction of being an Authorized Reseller as well as owning and managing Oracle Approved Education Centers (OAEC) throughout the United States. TAM Training is Oracle University s largest applications training provider. As an OAEC, TAM Training utilizes Oracle authorized curriculum and environments. All of our public courses follow the Oracle University 100% Guaranteed policy. Simply put, if a student is not satisfied with the class, they can retake the same class again. Client experience is also enhanced at our facilities by the TAM Training No workstation sharing policy. We believe that an adult learner needs to practice what is being taught. This allows the learner a hands-on experience with the software application while working at their own pace and not at the pace of others. This approach reinforces the adult learning principles of promoting the need to hear, see and touch each topic in order to fully comprehend the subject material. COLLABORATIVE SOLUTIONS Collaborative Solutions is an Oracle Certified Advantage Partner (CAP) for Oracle ebusiness and PeopleSoft Enterprise. Our deep experience in delivering PeopleSoft Solutions enabled us to attain this highest level of partnership with Oracle; fewer than 100 companies in North America have demonstrated a commitment to Oracle and its product offerings significant enough to achieve this designation. Having the right relationships in place to support the implementation and upgrade process is as important as having the right skills and experience. An implementation/upgrade partner who has strong relationship channels with Oracle ensures that you receive the latest product knowledge, upgrade techniques, and recommendations plus the timely resolution of issues. Our partnership with Oracle benefits MCCCD in two important ways. First, the extensive knowledge capital available only to Certified Advantage Partners provides the project team with the Oracle- 67
