Three years Honours Graduates (Bengali) of the Current and Immediate Previous Year in the system of (10+2+3) under Calcutta University. 2. Honours Graduates (Bengali) from other recognized Universities inwest Bengal. equivalency is essential. M.A ENGLISH 1. Three years Honours Graduates (English) of the Current and Immediate Previous Year in the system of (10+2+3) under Calcutta University. 2. Honours Graduates (English) from other recognized Universities inwest Bengal. equivalency is essential. M.A / M.SC APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY 1. Three years Honours Graduates (Psychology) of the Current and Immediate Previous Year in the system of (10+2+3) under Calcutta University. 2. Three years Honours Graduates in Journalism & Mass Communication or any subject of the Current and Immediate Previous Year in the system of (10+2+3) under Calcutta University. 2. Three years Honours Graduates in Journalism & Mass Communication or any subject of the Current and Immediate Previous Year from other recognized Universities in West Bengal. equivalency is essential 3. Candidates graduated in Hons. Subjects other than Journalism and Mass Communication from any University, including Calcutta University, should sit for an Admission Test..

4 ADMISSION RULES: Admission in 60% of the Post Graduation seats will be from C.U. students only on the basis of the marks obtained in B.A./ B.Sc (Hons.) Examination. 40% of the Post Graduate seats will be open for students of all the Universities including Calcutta University and the admission in thease seats will be through Admission Test. Admission test will be held on under graduate (Hons.) syllabus of Calcutta University of the respective subjects. The mode of examination will be multiple choice questions. Full marks of examination for each subject will be 100. The date & time schedule of examination of respective P.G. subjects will be notified later on the College Notice Board and Website. Merit List : Merit List for the 1 st Year M.A./M.Sc Admission ( ) will be published in due time on the College Notice Board and Website. N.B. : a)the admission is provisional, subject to scrutiny and verification of the documents submitted. The provisional admission is liable to cancelled, in case failure to submit necessary / adequate documents required by the university. If admission of any such student is not approved by the university, she will not be entitled to any refund of feed. b)selection will be strictly on the of merit. c)the college reserves the right of admission.

STEP-2: After duly filling up the application form, choose the payment option, without payment of requisite application fees of Rs.250 (exclusive of bank charges) your application shall not be considered for the ranking in the merit position. Payment may be made either online using ATM Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking through the secured payment gateway integrated with the application page or in cash along with the bank challan to be printed along with the form. Cash payment with Bank Challans may be received by UNION BANK OF INDIA SHYAMBAZAR and BAGHBAZAR branch only. The college banks with UNION BANK only. For cash payment, ensure to pay in the union account printed on the Bank Challan only. STEP-3: After submission, print the filled-in Application Form along with the confirmation slip (if you opt for online remittance) containing your Application Number or the 3-part Bank Challan (if you opt for cash (off-line) payment) by clicking print button. STEP-4: N.B.: Application will not be considered without application fees (Rs.200) to ensure validation of your application form, please check VALID APPLICATION section in the admission site( 2-3 days after depositing the Application Fee in UNION BANK OF INDIA,Shyambazar or Baghbazar branch. In case, your application does not get validated till then, then only visit College Office along with the proof of Application Fee submission on or before 12 th July, 2016 till 2:00 PM beyond which no complaints will be entertained.
