6 Doctoral Programme The Doctoral Programme is based on the curriculum 1. Scope and duration: in total 180 ECTS; is aimed at a duration 2 of three years. Programme: includes the completion of courses within the curricular part 3, the writing of the thesis, the assessment and the defence of the thesis (Rigorosum). 9 Tuition Fees Tuition Fee: either EUR or EUR, depends on your citizenship; students union fee: EUR; payment is a prerequisite of your registration for the continuation of your studies. Citizens of EU/EEA and Switzerland, recognised refugees and some more: EUR after 8 semester Citizens of the following countries do not have to pay tuition fee at all: Afghanistan, Equadorial Guinea, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Liberia, Madagascar, Maldives, Nepal, Niger, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen,... (list not complete). Citizens of all other countries: EUR Remission of the tuition fee Extended admission period
