4 Welcome to Oak Grove Lutheran School Principals and Directors My goal, and that of my staff, is to lead the investment in people and programs, and ensure that each day every student is immersed in rigorous academics, engulfed in faith development, and afforded service leadership opportunities. Our expectations are high, and we challenge our students to make a difference on campus, in their communities, and around the world. Darrin Roach, Principal, Oak Grove High School Oak Grove Lutheran Middle School is a family of God devoted to working together in our pursuit of knowledge and understanding. We collaborate to develop our full potential in all we do, both in school and out. We offer opportunities to grow and discover through rigorous academics, faith experiences and service opportunities, all while being supported by caring adults. It is through the serious study of challenging coursework that our intellect grows in order to further the work of God for the people of the world. Aimee Zachrison, Principal, Oak Grove Middle School At Oak Grove Elementary School, we live out our motto to learn well, be loving Christians, and serve others. Our teachers strive to provide our students with an excellent academic experience, but more than that, we take pride in helping our students gain an understanding in what it means to live out our faith. Oak Grove Elementary provides a community environment that nurtures a child through the most formative years of their life. Josh Kading, Principal, Oak Grove Elementary School Learning begins early and the Early Learning Center helps the process right from the start with programs for 3, 4, and 5 year old students. The Oak Grove Early Learning Center is designed to provide developmentally appropriate activities for each child. We understand young children learn best in an active environment that is planned to match their level of development. Children are active learners, not sitters; therefore, we provide a learning environment conducive for active learning. This is a safe and loving Christian environment for children that addresses areas of growth and development spiritually, intellectually, socially and physically. Mona Lybeck, Director, Kjos Early Learning Center at Oak Grove Lutheran School. Oak Grove Viewbook 4
