The listed candidates are requested to take admission on the following date, time and venue: Date: (Wednesday) Time: 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM (Failing to report during this period will result in the cancellation of their candidature) Venue: Pennmann Auditorium, IIT(ISM) Dhanbad The candidates are requested to bring the following documents and certificates in ORIGINAL WITHOUT FAIL. 1. Medical fitness certificate of applicant for admission in IIT(ISM) Dhanbad as per Annexure (page 3) along with the following: Latest PA view X-ray of chest with proper identification mark. Report of Hb, TC, DC, ESR of blood and blood group 2. Three recent passport size colour photographs. 3. All educational certificates (in ORIGINAL), including that of qualifying examination, class awarded, recently issued migration certificate, etc. 4. Certificate or valid id for age proof. 5. Caste certificate wherever applicable: OBC Non-creamy layer certificate issued on or after 27 th December, Authentic certificate for SC/ST/Physically Challenged claim issued recently and approved by competent authority. Any other relevant document in support of their claim. 6. Receipt of the Registration fee of Rs. 40, (Rs. 28, for SC/ST candidates) paid online through SBI Collect ( 7. A SEPARATE Receipt of Mess Advance Fee of Rs. 15, (Rupees fifteen thousand only) paid online through SBI Collect ( 8. NOC / acceptance of resignation letter from the employer for those who were working in Govt./Pvt. organizations irrespective of their nature of appointment (temporary/permanent/ad-hoc). Candidates without NOC from the employer will not be allowed to take admission. The Merit List of the candidates, as listed below, should send your willingness to take admission, at the earliest, through jrf@iitism.ac.in in order to initiate the admission process smoothly. Candidates coming for admission will have to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. No TA/DA will be paid by IIT(ISM). Selected candidates are required to take Student Care Insurance Policy after joining the institute, as and when notified with an appropriate premium. Candidates taking admission are required to abide by the rules and regulations laid down in the Ph.D. rules of IIT(ISM) (given in website: It may please be noted that wrong information or insufficient supporting documents may lead to the cancellation of candidature and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. Admitted candidates must join the institute on the same day, i.e., and give joining report to the Head of the Departments of their respective disciplines. Publication of results and appearance of name in the list does not confer any right to the candidate for admission.
