3 nature/limits/materials II, the process in full development The first ten days of July (July 2 nd to July 9 th, 2017) there will be realized in the Station of TEET in Prespes the process nature/limits/materials III In its first application nature/limits/materials I (May 2011 in Drosopigi) there were realized seminar for the use of mud bricks, hand-made paper, natural color pigments, felt, construction of music instruments. In its second application nature/limits/materials II (July 2016) the process focused, on the way the materials of nature renovated a traditional building (the Station of TEET in Psarades). Various constructions were created during the process useful for their function (heating place, pergola, ceramic kiln, outdoors sitting area). The trainers taught techniques that allowed the trainees to build with materials from nature bricks, to and create wooden constructions. The process introduced the participants into the use of materials from natures for their use and for their possibility to be used for their function also in visual artworks. In its third application nature/limits/materials III (July 2017) will complete the constructions in the Station of TEET in Psarades and will create a Monument for the Human Activity in the crossroad of the central road to Kastoria in its turn to Pervali/Prespes. During all its former application the concept of critical practice is introduced with lectures, discussions and conferences that are dealing with the subjects of the process. The call is addressed to students and TEET graduates, for trainees of Life Long learning programs, to students and Fine Art graduates from Greece and abroad and generally to whoever is interested in issues related to the aims of the process.

4 There will be realized two workshops: 1. Workshop on building with natural materials 2. Workshop of designing and building furniture from natural material The process is certified with three (3) ΕCTS from the University of Western Macedonia and certificate of attendance. Attendance Cost The cost of attendance for the workshops is as follows: euros, τthe cost covers the attendance dost for both workshops. 2. Students/Graduates of TEET/UOWM trainees of the Life-Lonf Learning Programs of UOWM they can attend for free. The payments is taking place with a deposit in account number (PIRAEUS BANK) of the Research Comette of the University of Western Macedonia with the justification : For the Life Long Learning Program Workshops of Visual and Applied Arts () The deposit should be realized within three days after the finilisation of the list of participants. Thos participants who wish, can be hosted in the Station of TEET, that can host up to 24 individuals. There will be a priority list. Those participants who will use their car to participate in the seminar and can transport others they can declare it to the organizers. The cost will be shares among the passengers. 6 ΤHE PROGRAM OF THE WEEK JULY 2 nd to JULY 10 th 2017 The process will be realized the first week of July: Sunday July 2 nd 11:00 Meeting at the New Park of Florina from KTEL/ Departure to Psarades 14:00 έως 16:00 Arrival in Psarades/Regrouping 19:00 έως 21:00 Meeting, Introduction of the two groups, introduction Monday July 3 rd 9:00 for as long as it takes Working in the Workshops (Psarades) Tuesday July 4 th 9:00 17:00 Visual March to Prespes from Mikrolimni/Megalexandros/Mosxoxori (staying overnight) Wednesday July 5 th 9:00 18:00 Visual March to Prespes from /Mosxoxori/Bath in Laimos/Return to Psarades Thursday July 6 th 9:00 for as long as it takes Working in the Workshops (Psarades/Pervali) Frisday July 7 th 9:00 for as long as it takes Working in the Workshops (Psarades/Pervali) Saturday July 8 th 9:00 for as long as it takes Working in the Workshops (Psarades/Pervali) Sunday July 9 th 10:00-12:00 Presentation of results 12:00-14:00 Cleaning of the place 15:00 Departure *Those who don t want to follow can stay in Psarades. If there will be need for additional work in Psarades or in the Military Post the process of March to Moschoxori will be cancelled. **The organizers deserve the right to ask from anyone to depart in case that he/she does not show appropriate behaviour
