Funding will offset portions of operational expenses, artist's fees and costs associated with three major performances to be held between October September Funding will support the annual Flamenco in the Sun Festival, artist's fees, professional development workshops and operational costs. The seldom-played Rimsky Korsakov trio and well known Mendelssohn trio, to be presented by the van Eck/Gekic duo and a guest violinist. "Here We Sing" will be a kaleidoscope of musical experiences, highlighting the talents of the members of "in HARMONY" and of many individual artists and performers from the community. Dance concert to include songs and dance from every genre. Members of the South Florida Lambda Chorale and local musicians will perform in December 2008 at the Broward County Main Library. Supports performances to include Firebird, The Fairy Doll, The Nutcracker and The Spring Ballet Concert. City Theatre, Inc. $35,900 Supports the programs including Summer Shorts Festival, the Short Cuts Tour and the Festival Series -a play-reading series, held in conjunction with the Summer Shorts Festival.
