Three of our girls earned Academic All-State Honors for the TGCA and THSCA. *** Girls Cross-Country Team District 31-5A 5 th Place team We had 1 athlete that advanced to the Region IV Meet and finished in 21 st place. *** Boys Cross-Country Team District 31-5A 5 th Place team We had 1 runner advance to the Region IV Meet - One of our boys (Martin Gonzalez) qualified for State with a 5 th place finish at Regionals Martin finished 14 th at the State UIL Cross Country Meet. *** Team Tennis District 31-5A Champions Region IV Team Tennis Semi-finalist. *** Girls Swimming and Diving District 31-5A Runner-Up Region VIII Meet 6 th Place Team 7 Girl Swimmer/Divers advanced to Regionals. *** Boys Swimming and Diving District 31-5A 3 rd Place Team Region VIII Meet 7 th Place Team 9 Boy Swimmers/Divers qualified to the Regional Swim Meet. *** Girls Basketball District 31-5A Champions Bi-District Champions Area Finalist 2 Rounds Two players were selected to play in the RGVBCA All-Star Game for the West Team. One player made the THSCA Academic All-State Team. *** Girls Wrestling District 16-5A 2 Girls qualified to the Region IV Tournament *** Boys Wrestling District 16-5A 5 th place finish 6 Boys qualified to the Region IV Tournament One of our wrestlers was the Regional Champion and qualified for the UIL State Tournament *** Boys and Girls Powerlifting 1 Male and 2 Females qualified to Regional Power Lifting Meet / All 3 Lifters qualified to the State Power Lifting Meet. *** Girls Soccer District 31-5A Champions Bi-District Champions Area Champions Regional Quarterfinal Champions Regional Semi-Finalist 4 Rounds Our Girls Soccer Team was Ranked #1 Ranked in the RGV at the end of the 2016 season. Three of our girls were selected to play in the RGVSCO All-Star Game. Two of our girls received All Region honors. One of our girls made the TASCO All-State Team. *** Boys Soccer District 31-5A Champions Bi-District Champs Area Champs Regional Quarterfinalist 3 Rounds Five of our boys were selected to play in the RGVSCO All-Star Game for the West. Four of our players received All Region honors. Three of our boys earned TASCO All-State. *** Girls Golf Our Team was District 31-5A District Champions Our #1 Girls Team were the Region IV - Runner-Up Team They were also the #1 Girls Golf Team in the RGV at the end of the 2016 season The #1 Sharyland Golf Team Qualified for the UIL State Golf Tournament The Lady Rattler Golf Team Placed 3 rd at the State UIL Tournament. Three of our players earned All-State Girls Golf honors. Boys Golf #1 Team District 31-5A Champions - #2 Team finished 5 th at District # 1 Team advanced to the Region IV Tournament. One of our boys earned All-State Boys Golf honors. *** Girls Spring Tennis District 31-5A Runner-Up 4 players qualified for the Region IV Tournament - One of our girls (Emilia Ramos) advanced to the State Tennis Tournament in mixed doubles and won the UIL 5A State Championship. Boys Spring Tennis District 31-5A Runner-Up 5 players qualified for the Region IV Tournament - One of our boys (Sebas Arrizola) advanced to the State Tennis Tournament in mixed doubles and won the UIL 5A State Championship.
