2 What is the MSc in Finance? The Master of Science in Finance (MSc in Finance) program is a two year, research based thesis program offered by the Edwards School of Business. This program was designed to give students the tools and experiences required for a strong career in either academia or industry. The MSc in Finance provides students with a theoretical background in contemporary financial issues and incorporates a strong foundation in empirical methods. Throughout the program, students have the opportunity to question and understand current financial literature and practices, engage with devoted and knowledgeable faculty and staff, and participate in various special guest lecturers and presentations.

8 Entrance Requirements A 4 year undergraduate degree with a major or substantial number of courses in Finance. A recommended minimum score of 600 on the GMAT or the equivalent GRE score. A minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 75% over the most recent two years of study. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Applicants from non-english speaking countries are required to obtain a minimum score of 86 on the TOEFL exam (a minimum score of 19 is required in each of the following areas: reading, writing, listening and speaking). The minimum accepted score on the IELTS is 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in all areas. At least 6 credit units (1 year) of Statistics and 3 credit units (1/2 year) of Calculus Strong candidates from alternate but complimentary fields may also apply Applications for the MSc in Finance program will be accepted until December 31st of the prior year. 8 Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan

To return, log back into your existing online application with your Login ID nd PIN. Please retain your Login ID and PIN information as you will need it throughout the application process. A non-refundable $90.00 application fee payable by credit card. Applications will not be processed without the application fee. Three academic letters of reference. After you submit your online application the references you listed will receive an from the online application system guiding them to fill out the online letter of recommendation. Unofficial transcripts from all previous institutions at which your undergraduate and/or graduate degree(s) were obtained or coursework was taken. Unofficial copy of your GMAT/GRE Unofficial copy of English language proficiency assessments (for applications from non-english speaking countries) results. A statement of intent indicating why you wish to pursue an M.Sc. in Finance. A copy of your resume. Please note, during your online application you will be required to upload unofficial copies of your transcripts, GMAT/GRE report, and English proficiency assessments.
