1 B20242 Bachelor of Economics/Bachelor of Arts Course Structure (Commencing 2018) Course requirements Students need to complete 32 units (192 points) in order to obtain their degree. The course structure has the following main components: Bachelor of Arts 16 units (96 points) from the Bachelor of Arts (refer to Faculty of Arts for details) Part A Arts specified study (48 points) Part B Arts major (48 points) Additional degree requirements: A minimum of four units (24 points) at Level 3 must be from the Faculty of Arts. Bachelor of Economics Part A Foundation commerce knowledge (24 points) Part B Economics discipline (Economics and economic policy stream OR and econometrics stream) with capstone (72 points) Additional degree requirements: Completion of 12 units (72 points) from the Bachelor of Economics at Clayton campus. Completion of 4 units (24 points) from the Faculty of Business and Economics at Clayton campus. A maximum of 8 units (60 points) at level 1. A minimum of four (24 points) at level 3 must be from the Faculty of Business and Economics at Clayton campus. Note that at most two units may contribute towards two majors or a major and a minor. If you intend to, or may, undertake an Honours year, you should ensure you complete the specific units required for Honours in your chosen major area of study.
