D in finance, on thesis titled Role of Merchant Bankers in Corporate Financing (Capital Issue Management) In India from the University of Calcutta in With more than two decades of teaching experience, Dr. Saha has taught at undergraduate as well as postgraduate level. He is also associated with Department of Commerce (MBA-Finance), University of Calcutta as well as Professional Institutes including Business Schools during several academic assignments. Dr. Saha has been supervising research scholars under the Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta. He has currently completed a Major Research Project funded by the UGC titled Ethical role of statutory auditor on corporate scam in safeguarding stakeholders interest in India and abroad: A comparative study since 1990 which is first Major Research Project in Department of Commerce, Morning (Accounting and Finance), St. Xavier s College (Autonomous), Kolkata. Dr. Saha has become a prolific author and he has to his credit more than 60 published research papers, covering accounting and finance issues, in leading national and international journals, conference proceedings and edited books like The Chartered Accountant, The Chartered 1 P a g e

He also attended the said conference in presenting his research paper. This international visit has been made under UGC Travel Grant Scheme and Research Grants approved by the St. Xavier s College (Autonomous), Calcutta.
