I believe in the concept of self-sharpening knives, where people learn from each other. When you re among people smarter, faster and more successful than you, you start reaching, wanting more, asking questions, and you create a better version of yourself. The SKOLKOVO School of Management is an environment where it s unfashionable to stop, and important to move forward. Together. Mikhail Voronin Executive MBA-1 Graduate, Senior Partner of Winning The Hearts Group One of the most valuable things that I gained from the school is the alumni community with its personal interactions. This school is not simply a beautiful campus, professors, management, or students. It s all together, a single living organism. Both the goals and course may change. But there are core values that never change. And it is crucial to me. Alexey Goryachev Executive MBA-16 Graduate, Senior Partner of RB Partners, Head of YPO Moscow I graduated from the SKOLKOVO Business School in May 2014, the diplomas were awarded in September, and in November I arrived in Chelyabinsk to build a high-tech pump plant. The project had 3 founders: state-owned Transneft, private company Konar (Chelyabinsk), and Termomeccanica S.P.A. (Italy), and I headed the plant as General Director. During plant construction, I used the knowledge I gained at the business school. Firstly, we developed the equipment layout, feedstock and materials movement routes to the shop, and production sites, relying on the knowledge I gained from the Operational Management module. Secondly, I was greatly assisted by the Managerial Accounting module when I had to interact with the Italian partners on the company s budgeting, feasibility study, and 5-year development plan. Thirdly, the negotiation practice. The general and executive directors of multinational companies have very sound experience in this area; they also assess the other party in the negotiations, and base their negotiation strategy on this. The ability to assess and understand who s in front of you, how ready they are to make concessions and accept your terms, is crucial. At the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO, it s taught by Professor Moty Cristal. Pavel Bilenko Executive MBA-8 Graduate, Director General, TEKNER Engineering Centre

British architect David Adjaye and his team were selected to translate the concept into reality. Taking the Russian climate into account, Adjaye intentionally avoided the traditional college campus layout and created a virtually enclosed town, complete with classrooms, cafes, streets and squares all inside of the Disk, the platform on which administrative and hotel units are based. The Сampus has been recognized as one of the most beautiful universities in the world. It contains a fusion of cultures and simultaneously reflects the futuristic nature of the school. Our Campus is one of our advantages. It is not just any campus, but a unique structure that we had the courage to design and build. This is our face. This place has a very special ambiance.
