7 STEP UP TO PERSONALIZED CAREER PLANNING The Mays Career Management Center (CMC) helps students create an individualized career development plan early in the program and ongoing professional development after graduation. CMC s support services include: EARLY ASSESSMENTS Students work with the center prior to arriving on campus and throughout the program. A series of assignments helps students focus on their graduate school goals. In addition, students take a number of assessments that will guide efforts to improve their communication and leadership skills. ORIENTATION ACTIVITIES CMC offers sessions during orientation to help students plan for their post-graduation career search. Through career panels, mock interviews and other activities, students are prepared to balance both the academic and professional sides of the MBA program. PARTNERING FOR SUCCESS Students will work with the experienced CMC team as they develop and execute job search processes.
