The KIC awards have been made according to the strategic objectives of the KIC funding instrument and the available budget.

1 ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUCCESSFUL APPLICATIONS FOR KNOWLEDGE INTERCHANGE AND COLLABORATION (KIC) GRANT (Round 2 Call 2018) The National Research Foundation (NRF) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST) are pleased to announce awards for the 2018 Round 2 call for the KIC funding instrument. The KIC awards have been made according to the strategic objectives of the KIC funding instrument and the available budget. Due to the unprecedented large number of applications received for this call, and the limited budget, regrettably a large proportion of good applications could not be supported. The successful applications for the grants are listed in Table 1 below. PLEASE NOTE: If your name appears in the following table, your application has been successful in receiving an award.
