2 Profile of IMS The Bhaskar Pandurang Hivale Education (B.P.H.E.) Society has three Institutions under its umbrella: Ahmednagar College, Institute of Social Work & Research (ISWR) and Institute of Management Studies, Career Development &Research (IMS)..IMS is a premier educational institute affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University of Pune and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute offers various postgraduate programmes in both Management and Information Technology. The MBA programme of the Institute is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.The Institute is also recognized Post Graduate Research Centre(Management)of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Achievements of IMS The Institute became one of the first few educational institutes under Savitribai Phule Pune University of Pune, to get quality certification 'ISO ' on 26 th April 2002 The Institute received Dewang Mehta National Education Awards in association with Hindustan Unilever Ltd. The Institute has been awarded Outstanding B-school Award in West Region The Institute received a National Award for 'Leadership in IT Education ' from Cannon India Pvt. Ltd and Stars of the Industry Group on 13 th February2012 The Institute received the prestigious 'Best Management Institute Award' in 'Teaching- Learning& Research' from The Educational Standards and Testing Council of India (TEST-COIN), The Global Open University Nagaland and The Confederation of Indian Universities, New Delhi in December, 2009 The students and faculty members of the 'IMS-Videocon Academy of Fine & Performing Arts' were blessed with a golden opportunity to perform at 'Rashtrapati Bhavan' before the then Hon.President of India, Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam on 8 th August2006 Courses offered Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) Master of Computer Application (M.C.A) Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D Management)

3 About the Conference Conference Theme 'Challenges in Multitudinal Management Orbits The business environment is very dynamic and spinning new opportunities as well as challenges. The business scenario is driven by globalization, technological revolutions, changing demographics, pressing social imperatives and intense competition. Managers and researchers are required not only to identify, understand and respond to the environmental changes but also to be proactive to foresee and be prepared for change before it happens. Managers need to craft pioneering strategies to grab the opportunities and overcome the challenges. Research can help in this context to generate fresh ideas and out look to overcome business challenges in dynamic environment. This International Conference is organized to provide a platform for management thinkers and researchers to exchange ideas, knowledge and experience. The above theme allows for such discussion, contemplation and leading knowledge to be shared in this platform. The paper should include Abstract. The paper should provide appropriate references in APA format. The paper should be accompanied with author name(s), organization name, designation, full postal address, address, telephone/ mobile number alongwith the participant category and title of research paper/article specifying the sub-theme on the front page. The paper should be submitted in both hard and softcopy to the Conference Secretary. 4 Best Paper Award and Publications The First and Second Best Paper will be awarded 3,000/- & 2000/- in each category. Selected papers will be published in Institute's 'Indian Journal of Current Trends in Management Sciences'(ISSN ).
