STEP 1 but STEP 2 If you have a relevant degree or qualification such as ATT, ICB/Bookeeping, ACCA, CA ( SA ) or MBA, you can apply to CIMA directly and claim exemptions. NB. Colleges are not authorised to evaluate qualifications and/or grant exemptions so please check directly from the link below: STEP 3 What are the registration fees and how do I register and then take exams? To register, follow this link: Exams and exemption fees will apply if you are exempted from some module/s and these range from GBP56 per module at certificate level, GBP73 at Operational and Management levels and GBP120 at Strategic level. You can start by getting a free quote or do direct enrolment by clicking Get Free Quotes & Bookings at the top right hand corner of our website : The CIMA Gateway Route The gateway route is a great way to fast track onto the CIMA Professional Qualification and earn the highly valued CGMA designation. This fast track route enables eligible individuals to progress directly to the final level of the CIMA Professional Qualification (Strategic level), upon passing the CIMA Gateway Exam. The CIMA Gateway Exam is also known as the Management Case Study exam for those not on the accelerated route. Individuals who hold an MBA or Master s Degree in Accounting or passed finalist of professional bodies such as ACCA, SAICA etc are eligible for the Gateway route. Members of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) bodies are also eligible. UNISA has what it calls Certificate in the Theory of Management Accounting (CTMA) which can enable you enter the CIMA Gateway route. You must complete the UNISA Post Graduate Diploma in Management Accounting to access this route. How does the Gateway Exam work? Eligible individuals are required to take the CIMA Gateway Exam (also known as the Management Level Case Study). The exam is: a computer based case study exam; three hours long & available every February, May, August and November; assesses knowledge and competencies covered in the Management level (E2/P2/F2) of the CIMA Professional Qualification. 7
