2 PURPOSE of today Provide overview of rationale, features, & outcomes of school- wide approach to positive behavior supports.

3 Facts about PBIS More than 9000 schools in 37 states use SW- Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. NOT a specific curriculum IS-scientifically-based academic and behavioral practices for improving academic and behavior outcomes for all students. Most widely researched approach to improving teaching and learning environments.
