He received his BA degree in physical education from Northern Michigan University. Scott has been a special education paraprofessional at Oak Terrace for the past two years. Page 1

2 2. Robyn Funke, (1.0 FTE), fourth grade teacher, Sherwood School, salary placement BA Lane, Step 3, $43,652.00, effective with the school year. She received her BA degree in elementary education from Northeastern Illinois University. She has prior experience as a teacher in the Chicago Public School System. Robyn has been a special education paraprofessional at Braeside School for the past year. 3. Rachel Schwartz, special education resource teacher, Oak Terrace School, salary placement BA Lane, Step 1, $41,149.00, effective with the school year. She received her BA degree in in elementary education and special education from the University of Delaware. Rachel completed her student teaching in Maryland. 4. Sarah Wade, (.36 FTE), general music teacher, Northwood Junior High School, salary placement MA9 Lane, Step 4, $19,180.80, prorated, effective with the school year. She received her BA degree in theatre education from Northern Illinois University, and her MA degree in theatre directing from Roosevelt University. Sarah was a long term substitute drama teacher at Northwood Junior High School in the school year. This is a new position. 5. He received his BA degree in elementary education from Northeastern Illinois University. Jake has prior experience as a teacher in Waukegan School District # Jenna Weinstein, (.90 FTE), (.50 FTE), kindergarten teacher, and (.40 FTE), English language learner teacher, Indian Trail School, salary placement BA Lane, Step 1, $37,034.10, prorated, effective with the school year. She received her BA degree in elementary education from the University of Illinois. Jenna is currently a special education paraprofessional at Indian Trail School. Memorandum of Understanding It is recommended that the Memorandum of Understanding regarding the reduction of work days between the Board of Education and the and the North Shore Support Staff Association be approved as presented in closed session. Recommendation: Action Suggested Motion: A motion is needed to approve the personnel recommendations as presented. Page 6
