1 2 ND ASSESSMENT TEST OF CERTIFICATE COURSE ON GST SCHEDULED TO BE HELD ON 17 TH MARCH, 2018 THROUGH ELECTRONIC MODE Assessment Test of all the Certificate Courses on GST & Virtual Certificate Course on GST completed on or before 18 th February, 2018 will be conducted by the Indirect Taxes Committee of ICAI on 17 th March, 2018 Through Computer mode at specified centers. (Due to festival of Gudi Padava/Chaitra Sukladi/Ugadi/Cheti Chand on 18 th March, 2018, the exam has been preponed to 17 th March, 2018(Saturday) Participants are requested to register themselves at the Assessment Centre of their choice on or before 13 th March, 2018 by filling up the on-line application form at below mention link: Date of Assessment Test Time March 17, 2018 (Saturday) 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Note: A candidate can appear unlimited attempts in the Assessment Test for the period of three years from the date of completion of a particular batch. A. PATTERN OF ASSESSMENT TEST Question paper will be of 100 marks, containing 50 multiple choice questions carrying 2 marks each. The GST Acts & Rules, 2017 and Notifications/Circulars issued till 31st January, 2018 will be applicable B. FEES FOR ASSESSMENT TEST S. no. Particular Assessment Test Fees 1. Member who attended Physical Classes by paying fee of Rs. Nil for first time

For re-appearing in assessment test, who have not qualified in earlier test. Rs. 2000/- plus GST C. PASSING MARKS Passing marks for the Assessment Test is 50. The Institute is not undertaking any assessment in the strict sense but evaluating the capabilities inculcated through the learning process. The candidate securing less than 50% marks in the assessment test will have to re-appear in the test. No negative marking. D. ASSESSMENT CENTRES Following are the Tentative Assessment Test Center, in case for a particular center less than 20 participants applies than that particular center would be merged with the nearby location. For example Surat center may be merged with Ahmedabad. Ans. Assessment test are conducted 2 times in a period of 12 months i.e. around August & February. 7. What is the minimum attendance requirement for appearing in Assessment test? Ans. At least, 8 out of 10 or 12 out of 15 (80% attendance) classes must be attended by the participants for appearing in Assessment test. If your attendance is less as per eligibility than you have to attend pending class in future batch convenient to you at your nearby location. 8. What is the Passing Marks for Assessment test? Ans.
