However, it is further stated that as per Para-12.C of the Notice of Recruitment for Advt. No.ER-03/2015 (published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated August 2015), along with other instructions, candidates were clearly intimated that- The Commission will have the full discretion to fix separate minimum qualifying marks in Examination/Skill Test/Screening Test/Personality Test/Interview for each category of candidates [viz.sc/st/obc/ph(pwd)/exs/general(ur)]. Accordingly, as per Para-12.C of the Notice of Recruitment for Advt. No.ER-03/2015, the Commission decided to fix the Minimum Cut Off Marks for UR, OBC and SC/ST/PH/EXS candidates as 35%, 30% and 25% respectively. It is further stated that there was only 01 (one) one SC Candidate who had secured the Minimum Cut Off Marks as fixed for UR candidates. Therefore, he had been considered against the UR Vacancy. None of the remaining candidates belonging to SC Category, including yourself, secured Minimum Cut Off Marks fixed for SC Category candidates i.e. 25% Marks in the Written Examination. Therefore, 02 (two) SC Vacancies could not be filled up for want of suitable SC Category Candidates. 3. So far as your candidature is concerned, it is stated that as per the records available with this Office, you were a candidate for the said post with Roll No and had secured 37 Marks out of total 200 Marks i.e % Marks which is less than the Cut Off Marks fixed for the SC Category Candidates. Therefore, your candidature was not considered for any SC vacancy. All those candidates who appeared at the said Written Examination, including you, were called for Document Verification. Therefore, appearing at the Document Verification does not confer any right for calling for PET/PST/ME for for Recruitment to the Post of Sub-Inspector (Fire)(Cat. No.ER-01/Advt. NO.ER-03/2015). You belong to OBC Category and obtained 42.5 out of total 200 Marks i.e 21.25% in the Written Examination. But Cut-off Marks fixed by the Commission for OBC Category candidates was 30% for calling in the PET/PST/ME for Recruitment to the said Post and, therefore, you were not called for PET/PST/ME. 5. Those candidates obtained equal to or more than the Cut-off Marks (Category wise), as mentioned against Query No.3 above, were called for the Physical Endurance Test. 2.
