4 V(a). Assessment format for classes PPI PPII There are no formal examination for students PP I & PP II. The assessment of the children is based on evaluation done on the basis of day day observation. Students shall have OPEN HOUSE which will help parents understand child s academic growth. V(b). Assessment format for classes I-X An academic year will have 2 terms - FIRST TERM April September SECOND TERM Ocber March ASSESSMENT For the purpose of fostering core competencies in learners, curriculum encompasses seven major learning areas, from scholastic and co-scholastic point of view. Scholastic Co-scholastic Areas Languages Work education Science Art education VIII. Social ASSESSMENT Sciences SCHEDULE FOR CLASS - I & Health II and Physical education Mathematics TERM I 1. Periodic test I comprising of one weekly test held. 2. Subject enrichment activities. 3. Periodic test II Mid term Examination which will be held in September/Ocber 2018 TERM II 1. Periodic test III comprising of one weekly test held. 2. Subject enrichment activities. 3. Periodic test IV End Term Examination will be held in March 2019 STRUCTURE OF ASSESSMENT SCHEME The Assessment scheme will have a 20 marks component of Internal Assessment. An 80 marks component for End Term Examination / Board Examination in all scholastic subjects Students need secure 33 percent marks separately in each of these components INTERNAL ASSESSMENT 1. Periodic Tests 3. Notebook Submission 2. Subject enrichment activities. 4. Mid Term Examination Subject Enrichment Activities These are subject specific activities aimed at enrichment of the understanding and skill development.
