1 KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA, PERAMBALUR CURRENT NEWS REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION :- In order to honor our National Flag & to remember the rules and regulations of the country proposed through the Indian constitution on 26 th January 1950, We celebrated the 65 th Republic day on Shri.P. SINGARAM, Principal, KV Perambalur hoisted the national flag at our school premises and gave a thought provoking speech. Children contributed the variety entertainments for their part and the program came to an end with vote of thanks rendered by Mrs. N. Padma, PRT. 16. ANNUAL PANEL ACADEMIC INSPECTION :- Annual Academic Panel Inspection was held on under the stewardship of Shri. RVSS.SUBRAHMANYAM, Assistant Commissioner, KVS RO Chennai along with his team members Shri. L. Amarnath, Principal KV Sivaganga, Shri. Sh. S. Rudrappaswamy, VP, KV Minambakkam & Sh. Ravi Mahadevan HM KV OCF Avadi. The day started with morning assembly and Shri. RVSS. SUBRAHMANYAM, Assistant Commissioner, KVS RO Chennai, blessed the children and rightly said that, Happiness can make the child to learn in a better way and so he instilled in the children s mind as Come with smile & go with smile. Then they assessed all the classes. A variety entertainment was presented by the children. The team members went through all the records. A staff meeting was conducted. The team members cordially encouraged & motivated all the teachers with their valuable guidance. 15. Vidyalaya management committee with pta & staff:- Minutes of the Vidyalaya Management Committee meeting held on at 3:00 pm convened by Shri. M.A. Subramaniam, D.R..O, Perambalur and Nominee Chairman, Vidyalaya Management Committee KV, Perambalur. The Meeting commenced with the prayer & formal welcome address was given by the member

2 secretary (Principal) followed by his briefing about the purpose and need for holding the meeting of the VMC (supplied the printout) to the Nominee Chairman, VMC and other VMC & PTA committee members. The meeting ended with the vote of thanks. 14. GOLDEN JUBILEE YEAR CELEBRATION OF KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA SANGATHAN CUM PHOTO EXHIBITION OF KV PERAMBALUR:- Golden Jubilee year celebration of KendriyaVidyalayaSangathan cum Photo Exhibition of KV Perambalur was celebrated on under the stewardship of Dr. Shri. DarezAhamed, I.A.S, District Collector, Chairman VMC KV Perambalur and co honored by Shri. M.A. Subramaniam, DRO, District Collectorate and Nominee Chairman, VMC. The programme started with lighting the lamp followed by prayer and the welcome address by our respectable Incharge Principal Shri. P. Singram and then release of Souvenir & Prize distribution. The audiences were entertained by the variety entertainments by our school children. Finally, the programme came to an end with Vote of thanks rendered by Mrs. N. Padma, PRT. 13. annual sports day celebration:- Annual Sports day was celebrated on Shri. M.A. Subramaniam, DRO, District Collectorate and Nominee Chairman, VMC was the chief guest of the day. The program started with the prayer. Shri. P. Singaram, InchargePrincipal KVPerambalur and Member Secretary, VMC welcomed everyone. Then our honourable chief guest accepted the salute and March past done by the Sports captains& students of different houses. Olympic torch has been lit and Oath taking was administered by the school girls captain S.G. Anjali. The Final Sports events were conducted on that day & the prizes were distributed by our honourable chief guest. Sports report has been delivered to the gathering. Finally, the programme came to an end with Vote of thanks rendered by Mrs. N. Padma, PRT.

3 12. CHILDREN S DAY CELEBRATION:- Our country is a very big country and there is a great deal to be done by all of us. If each one of us does his or her little bit, then all this mounts up and the country prospers and goes ahead fast. -Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. To motivate & enchant our little roses to be the responsible citizens of future India, in order to fulfill the dreams of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, We celebrated the CHILDREN S DAY in our vidyalayapremises on under the stewardship of our honorable I/C Principal Shri. P. SINGARAM. The Children proved their talents in the form of cultural activities. The Program came to an end with the blessings of our honorable Principal. 11. PARTICIPATION AT CMP SPORTS AT DIFFERENT VENUES:- 94 students of our vidyalaya from Class III V haveparticipated on CMP Sports events at KV Karaikudi, KV Thanjavur, KV No.1 Trichy& KV No.2 Trichyon PARTICIPATION AT KVS REGIONAL SCIENCE CONGRESS:- E. Harshini& J.J. Shaerline of Class VIII has participated on KVS Regional Science Congress at KV No.1 Trichy on In that, E. Harshini bagged the II Position at Regional level and she has been selected for the National level Science Congress at Bhopal on Vidyalaya management committee:- Vidyalaya Management Committee meeting was held on at 4: 00 pm on District Collectorate, under the governance of the honorable VMC Chairman Dr. DarezAhamed, I.A.S. District Magistrate and Collector. The welcome address was given by the VMC member secretary & the Principal Dr. K. Amarnath, followed by the

4 introduction of all the VMC members and the agenda points were discussed. The meeting came to an end with the vote of thanks. 8. VISIT TO A TRAVELLING EXHIBITION KVS GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION:- Students of class VII & VIII had a visit to a Travelling Photo Exhibition on the occasion of KVS Golden Jubilee Celebration on PARTICIPATION AT REGIONAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION:- Students of class VII & VIII participated in REGIONAL SCIENCE EXHIBITION held at KV No.2 Madurai. GRAND PARENTS DAY CELEBRATION:- Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do.they are sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children. KV involved in CBSE on the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the tremendous contribution towards grandparents. The theme for 2020 was A light for every Generation. As part of this theme we designated Grandparents Day. We believe

6 Grandparents are essential members of our families and community so we decided to make the day special for them on In connection with, cultural feast has been given by the children. Many games & activities were conducted and prizes were distributed to the winners. 4. Gandhi jayanthi celebration:- You must be the change you want to see in the world Gandhiji. We proudly and heartily celebrated Mahatma Gandhiji s Birthday on and our honorable Principal Dr. K. Amarnath, honored Gandhiji s portrait with garland and flowers. All other Staff members & Student Council leaders honored with flowers. The super singers of our school sang Patriotic songs and Bhajansto pay respect to our father of the nation. 3. PARTICIPATION IN VARIOUS COMPETITIONS:- The children of our vidyalaya have Participated & won certain positions in various competitions held at Cluster & Regional Level. 7 2. INVESTITURE CEREMONY :- Investiture ceremony was held on Shri. M.A. Subramaniam, DRO was the chief guest of the day. Badges for school girls and boys captain, Vice captain, CCA captains of different houses, Sports captains of different houses were given to the children by the Chief Guest. Oath taking was administered by the school captain B. Nirmal & S.G. Anjali. 1. INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION :- In order to honor our National Flag, We celebrated the Independence Day on Shri.M.A. Subramaniam, DRO hoisted the national flag at our school and made the day great.
