The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. International Women's Day (IWD) has been observed since the early 1900's. "The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights." says world-renowned feminist, journalist and social and political activist Gloria Steinem. Voicing the same opinion our guest for the day had enlightened HITAMites on the women movement and its fallouts. Rejoiced the glory of women-hood and its triumphs HITAM women marked their presence with their participation in the activities conducted for the day.

Audrey Hepburn NSS: State Youth conference on Role of NSS in fulfilling Sustainable Development Goals" is organized by JNTUH at Hyderabad Institute of Technology from 22nd March 2018 to 23rd March This event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof A. Govardhan, Rector of JNTUH, Guest of Honor R. Gokula Krishnan, Regional Director, Govt. of. India., Event convenor Prof. Sammulal, President of the event Dr. S.V.S Ramakrishnam Raju and Event coordinator K.Yasaswini.( NSS Program officer of HITAM). session was inaugurated with lightening of lamp by the dignitaries present on 22nd March. Mr. K.Balaji Reddy from Malla Reddy Engineering College addressed the students on each goal and asked the students to focus on the environment and the factors which are causing harm to nature. The second day session was addressed by Prof. C. Mallesh from Anurag Group of Institutions. The speaker's narration had attracted the students as he connected each goal with one live example which helped students to realize their role. Event came to an end with valedictory function which is headed by Prof.Vishnu Dev state NSS officer. Certificates were given to all the participants. Throughout the two days session students were educated and were entertained.

3 Undergrad Summit Stumaz Success is where preparation and opportunity meet -Bobby Unser Under Grad Summit (UGS) is first ever of its kind student conclave that celebrates youth! This gathering honours Academic Institutions & Students in various categories such as academic performance, infrastructure and many more. The underlying aim of this summit is to connect all colleges and students across, under one roof for the upcoming better future prospects. It is a great medal of honour for HITAM as it is awarded by Best Eco-Friendly Campus in the states of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh", students and faculty participated in the event with great energy.

4 GALA HITAM A life without a Cause is a life without an Effect. Life is all about having a gala time. -Miley Cyrus Street Cause (Affinity Club) Street cause affinity club caters its interests on different social issues and builds awareness and possible rehabilitation for the social victims as part of its events a gala night was organised to raise funds for the school which is adopted by the club. The school is located in kanukunta Medak district and Health camp at Ravvulapally R.R district. The total fund raised through this event is 19,600/-. Gala night event started at 7PM and lasted till early hours 2:30 AM, the nighters enjoyed the games, activities and the movie screening organised by the club. Event with a purpose of street cause encourages the youth to focus not just on the fun but also on social responsibility.
