3 Notices Women s Retreat The Women s retreat will take place in Brisbane Mon 2 nd to Sat 7 th July Please contact the Brisbane parish on retreats@sspx.com.au to hold your place. A $150 deposit is required. Sunday Collections Sunday when Mass First Collection: for St Pius X to come to Townsville Second Collection: for the Townsville Building Fund Sunday when Donations can be made to the Poor box at the back of the church. These funds assist with the needy, the seminary and the nuns. For those working, traditionally it was 10%. I think however, about what one earns after 3 hours work (for those who work full time) is sufficient. For those who work part time or don't work at all, the average of what someone would earn after one hours of work is sufficient (which is currently about $20.). For children with pocket money, they should try to set aside 10% of that for the collections as this all goes to helping the work of the Church. (Fr Taouk) 2019 District Pilgrimage to the Holy Land Fr Taouk is organizing an 11 day pilgrimage to the Holy Land in January 2019, which will be accompanied by Fr Ockerse.
