2 VVM (Stage II) The following 03 students were selected for stage II examination held at NIT Kurukshetra on 14 th April, 2018 after clearing stage I (online Examination of VVM School Level) examination. Categories in District Chess tournament held at Panipat on 29 th 30 th April The team was awarded Runners up trophy for the overall performance. Certificate of Merit 03 students from classes VI to VIII were awarded Certificates of Merit in a Painting Competition on the theme Water conservation at school level. The competition was organized by Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India at our school for the students of classes VI to VIII on 1st Dec 17. Total 96 students participated in the competition. 3 Inter DPS Language Literary Festival School participated in the Inter DPS Language Literary Festival 2018 organised by the DPS Society on 28th April, 2018 at DPS Bulandshahr. The event was held in 02 categories (01 Online activity & 02 Onsite activity) and our school participated in both the categories. District Level Cricket Tournament School cricket team participated in U/16 Youth Premier League in the District Level Cricket Tournament held at Rajeev Gandhi Stadium, Panipat from 2nd May to 12th May, In this tournament 08 teams participated, our tem reached till semi finals. Inter DPS National Table Tennis Tournament Girls (Open) students of class IX participated in the Inter DPS National Table Tennis Tournament Girls (Open) 2018 organised by the DPS Society at DPS Mathura Road on 21st & 22nd July, Inter DPS Hindustani Vocal Music Festival students from classes VIII to XII participated in the Inter DPS Hindustani Vocal Music Festival 2018 organised by the DPS Society at DPS Dwarka on 21st July, Inter DPS National Table Tennis Tournament Boys (Open) students from class VIII to X participated in the Inter DPS National Table Tennis Tournament Boys (Open) 2018 organised by the DPS Society at DPS Bulandshahr on 30th & 31st July, A special assembly for classes Nur to II was organized in the month of July. The theme for the special assembly was Monsoon Party. Class Nursery students came up dressed in different monsoon characters like caterpillar, frog, lady bug, peacock etc. They gave a mesmerizing performance on the song Rainy Day. A Spectacular dance performance was given by the students of classes Prep to II. Students gave the message of Water Conservation. It was a wonderful performance and enjoyed by all.

4 Inter House Basketball Tournament (Girls) The Inter House Basketball tournament for Girls was held on 19 th April, 2018 for classes VI to X. Nilgiri House bagged 1 st position followed by Shivalik House. Inter House Basketball Tournament (Boys) The Inter House Basketball tournament for boys was held on 20th April, 2018 for classes VI to X. Shivalik House bagged 1st position followed by Aravalli House. Inter House Table Tennis Tournament (Girls) The Inter House Table Tennis tournament for Girls was held on 3rd May, 2018 for classes VI to X. Aravalli House bagged 1st position followed by Nilgiri House. Inter House Table Tennis Tournament (Boys) The Inter House Table Tennis tournament for boys was held on 4th May, 2018 for classes VI to X. Aravalli House bagged 1st position followed by Nilgiri House. Inter House Badminton Tournament (Girls) The Inter House Badminton tournament for Girls was held on 7th May, 2018 for classes VI to X. Vindhyachal House bagged 1st position followed by Nilgiri House. Inter House Badminton Tournament (Boys) The Inter House Badminton tournament for Boys was held on 10th May, 2018 for classes VI to X. Vindhyachal House bagged 1st position followed by Shivalik House.

5 Inter House Football Tournament (Boys) The Inter House Football tournament for Boys was held on 22nd May, 2018 for classes VI to X. Vindhyachal House bagged 1st position followed by Shivalik House. Intra Section Hindi Extempore Competition The Intra Section Hindi Extempore Competition was held for class V on 4th May The best three students from each section were awarded certificates. Inter House Badminton Tournament (Girls) The Inter House Badminton Tournament for Girls was held on 19th July, 2018 for classes IV & V. Nilgiri House bagged 1st position followed by Aravali, Shivalik & Vindhyachal House. Inter House Badminton Tournament (Boys) The Inter House Badminton tournament for Boys was held on 20th July, 2018 for classes IV & V. The best 03 positions from class IV & V were awarded certificates. Intra Section Hindi Story Telling Competition The Intra Section Hindi Story Telling Competition was held for class IV on 4 th May section were awarded certificates. The best three students from each Intra Section Hindi Poem Recitation Competition The Intra Section Hindi Poem Recitation Competition was held for class III on 4th May The best three students from each section were awarded certificates. Intra Section English Calligraphy Competition The Intra Section English Calligraphy Competition was held for classes III to V on 11th May The best three students from each section were awarded certificates. The Inter House Quiz competition was held on 27th July 2018 for classes XI & XII. Aravalli House bagged 1st position followed by Shivalik & Vindhyachal House jointly.

6 Workshop on Inclusion and Inclusive Strategies 02 teachers (Ms. Anjali Munjal, PRT & Ms. Shweta Gurtatta, PRT) attended a workshop on the topic Inclusion and Inclusive Strategies organised by CBSE. The workshop was held at DAV Centenary School, Jind on 14th & 15th April, Workshop on Remodeled Assessment 02 teachers (Mr. Amit Saxena, PGT & Mr. Sudip Chatterjee, TGT) attended a workshop on the topic Remodeled Assessment organized by CBSE. The workshop was held at CBSE, Centre of Excellence, Panchkula on 17th April, Workshop on Classroom Management 02 teachers (Ms. Mahasweta Mukherjee, Counselor & Ms. Rekha Sharma, PRT) attended a workshop on the topic Classroom Management organized by CBSE. The workshop was held at Bright Scholar Sr. Sec. School, Sonepat on 27th & 28th April, Workshop on Gender Sensitivity 02 teachers (Ms. Dinesh Pushkarna, TGT & Ms. Elsy Susane Mathews, PRT) attaned a workshop on the topic Gender Sensitivity organized by CBSE. The workshop was held at Bal Vikas Progressive School, Panipat on 5 th May, Workshop on Inclusion and Inclusive Strategies 02 teachers (Ms. Mahasweta Mukherjee, Counselor & Ms. Meghna Muradia,PRT) attended a workshop on the topic Inclusion and Inclusive Strategies organised by CBSE. The workshop was held at GDR The Gurukul International School, Panipat on 12th & 13th May, 2018.

7 Workshop on Python 03 teachers (Ms. Sabina Garg, Ms. Anju Rana & Mr. Rohit Gupta, TGT s) attended a workshop on the topic Capacity Building Programme on Python organized by RPS International School, Ganaur in association with Compta, Haryana Chapter on 14th July, Workshop on Gender Sensitivity 02 teachers (Ms. Monika Sachdeva, PRT & Ms. Poonam Ghangas, PRT) attended a workshop on the topic Gender Sensitivity organised by CBSE. The workshop was held at Silver Oak International School, Kaithal on 28th July, Workshop - English 02 teachers (Ms. Ekta Pasricha, PRT & Ms. Suman Chauhan, PRT) attended a workshop on the topic The English Language Capacity Building programme for Middle School Teachers organized by DPS Society. The workshop was held at DPS HRD Centre, Dwarka from 16th to 18th July, Workshop on Career Guidance Ms. Anuradha Dwivedy, Vice Principal & Ms. Arti Sharma, Headmistress attended a workshop on the topic Career Guidance organised by CBSE. The workshop was held at DAV school, Ambala Cantt. on 17th & 18th July, 2018.
