2 Tree Plantation N.S.S. Department, P. R. Pote (patil) college of Engineering and Management Amravati organized the Tree Plantation Event on 1st JUL, 2016 as per the direction of Government of Maharashtra. Government of Maharashtra had a vision of planting of 2 Cr plants in the week. To support that activity we planted plants in the college campus & Nearby to the campus.

3 Environment Awareness Campening National Service Scheme & Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Amravati, had organized a guest lecture on Environment Awareness on 12/08/2016. The Guest Person was Mr. Yadav Tarde, founder of DISHA Foundation, Chairman of Wildlife protection and environmental Conservation organization, Amravati. The purpose of this session is to make the students aware about Environmental issues. The students from National Service Scheme, Pre-final year and 2nd year of B.E Electronics & Telecommunication engineering participated in this interactive session.

On that event Mr. Umesh Agarkar, representative of Jilha Samanya Rugnalay, Amravati provided the valuable Guidance about the Awareness of Blood Donation. The Program was inaugurated by the Hon. Chairman Pravin Pote Patil & 303 students had donated the blood.

5 AZADI 70 INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION P. R. Pote (patil) college of Engineering and Management Amravati celebrated AZADI 70 Independence 70 th from 11 th to 13 th August, 2016 based on theme YAD KARO QURBANI. Minister of Human Resource Development, India had requested to take up programs involving faculty and the student to focus on theme YAD KARO QURBANI. So as per the directions given by the principal the undersigned, Program Officer, NSS had arranged the three day events including the Rangoli competition organized on 11th August with the theme Yad Karo Qurbani. Singing competition was organized on 12th August with the theme Vande Mataram and on 13th of August Debate competition with the topic India Celebrating Independence and Poster competition with the topic India Celebrating Independenc On 15th of August, there was Independence Day celebration along with prize distribution for students. Also flash mob were performed by the students. The Azadi 70 celebration was successfully organized and managed under the guidance of principal. On that event NSS students had provided the daily essential school tools and a school dress to all the students in the school. During that student s interacted with the students and share their thoughts with them. During that event students have the valuable guidance of the founder & Chief Guest of the program.

9 Wanya-Jiv Saptah-2016 N.S.S. P. R. Pote (patil) college of Engineering and Management Amravati celebrated Wanya- Jiv Saptah-2016 on 2 nd OCT, 2016 along with Forest Department, Amravati. On that event NSS students have a nature trek in the pohra forest near Amravati. During the trek forest officials had provided the opportunity of bird watching and introductory session of Ecosystem based on plants & Animals.

10 Mission Clean INDIA / Swach Bharat INDIA N.S.S., P. R. Pote (patil) college of Engineering and Management Amravati had done Mission Clean INDIA on 23 rd OCT, 2016 in the premises of Bus Stand, Amravati. On that event NSS students had clean the premises of the Bus Stand, Amravati. Along with that students had discussion with the street workers, sellers, and common people to use dustbins and help to make the clean environment. Also we requested the staff members of MSRTC department to provide the dustbins in the premises.

13 Go Green, Re-Use, Reduce, Recycle & Avoid Polythene Bag Competing N.S.S., P. R. Pote (patil) college of Engineering and Management Amravati had done Go Green, Re-Use, Reduce, Recycle & Avoid Polythene Bag Competing on 15 th OCT, 2016 near the premises of Bus Stand, Amravati. On that event NSS students had a discussion with the street workers, sellers & common people to stop use of the polythene bags and disadvantages of use of polythene bags and give the message of Go Green, Re-Use, Reduce, Recycle.

On that event first students had a rally in the village and street play in the premises of the school. Also students had visit the villagers doorstep to make them aware of the power of voting, what is the need of voting and aware them to go for the voting in the upcoming elections for the Jilha Parishad, Panchayat Samati.
