Mark Leppard MBE Headmaster Our school has been at the heart of the community in Abu Dhabi since it was founded in 1968, and built on land generously donated by the founding president of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. We are understandably very proud of our special historical importance and equally proud that we were established as a not-for-profit, non-selective school, with an ethos of inclusivity that supports each of our students. 8 2016 ADISSA U9 and U11 Boys rugby League Champions An outstanding provision of sporting opportunities for every student. TEAMWORK, FITNESS AND FUN One of the strongest recreational and competitive sports programmes in the UAE. Sport plays a fundamental part in every student s education. We offer an outstanding choice of sporting opportunity through our PE and House Games curricula as well as our extensive co-curricular programme, which includes 18 Sports Clubs. Our school has a far reaching reputation in Abu Dhabi and across the Middle East competing weekly in the ADISSA leagues for netball, football, rugby and swimming. 10 Nursery BRITISH QUALIFIED TEACHERS Fill the classrooms with their enthusiasm and passion for learning We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) until the age of 5 and later we move on to The National Curriculum in England. Our results are exceptional, with 94-97% of children in KS1 and KS2 meeting the British Government s expected attainment standards in English and Maths and 43% - 59% above expected attainment standards.
