4 NITT/MBA Date: 30 th June, 2017 Dear «First_Name» «Last_Name» («CAT_ID»), We wish to inform you that you have been called for counselling for admission to the MBA programme of NIT, Trichy on 7 th July, We have called candidates in the ratio of 1:3 for counselling. So a call for counselling will not guarantee an admission to the MBA programme at NIT, Trichy. In order to confirm your selection after the counselling process, you will have to remit the fee mentioned below through a DD (DD can be taken at our premises). The fees details are as follows OC/OBC - Rs. 59,600 SC/ST - Rs. 24,600 and SC/ST - Rs. 9,600 (whose parental income is less than Rs. 4.5 Lakhs per annum) Venue for Counselling: Department of Management Studies, NIT, Trichy. The classes would commence from 10 th July, Please note the following points: 1. Request for change in the mode of payment or extension of the dates will not be entertained. 2. You will be required to bring all the original certificates as specified below for verification and submission at the time of counselling, along with the attested photo copies of all the certificates. Statement of Marks or Grades obtained in the qualifying examination. Degree/Provisional Certificate. Transfer Certificate. Migration certificate Course Certificate, Conduct and Character Certificate. SSLC certificate HSC certificate Students who are awaiting their results should submit their degree and final year marks statements on or before 14 th August, S.S.L.C. or any other Certificate for proof of age. Physical fitness certificate certified by a Government Medical Officer. Community Certificate for candidates selected under OBC/SC/ST Category (OBC Certificate should have been issued on or after as per the norms of Central Government of India). Income certificate issued by the competent authority for SC/ST candidates whose parental income is less than Rs. 4.5 lakhs per annum. CAT Score Card. 3. The advance payment of one semester fee is mandatory to confirm your seat. If any candidate fails to pay their one semester fee through DD within the stipulated time, his/her candidature is

5 automatically cancelled and he/she cannot claim for admission to MBA programme. 4. Candidates provisionally selected under PWD category will have to be approved by the Medical Board as per NITT norms. 5. The SC/ST candidates whose parental income is less than Rs. 4.5 Lakhs per annum need to produce latest income certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of final admission.
